Re: Congratulations to CE's Yujam. First Afcon win

Gambia beats Mauritania  Yujam is now a fully-fledged American citizen. No more Gambia for him. Jealousy is not good. Anyway, arguably, Yujam's boys are one draw away from the round of 16  Yujam is first class. Above reproach. Just messing with him. A gentleman. It seems like every coun...

Re: Please What is eguavoen Target??

Personally, I don’t GAF about a team performance I.e attacking football, dribbling etc. when I am judging my players or coaches. The metric of consideration is “Result” “contractual target” “end product”. This made me to ask a question 1) What is eguavoen Written contractual target? Baba Rohr met a...

Re: Will EGU empty Bench? ... Uzoho, Ebuehi, & Ndah ... Get ready!

As I understand it, head to head is used as the tie breaker for this AFCON...If correct, Nigeria has finished first in the group with a game to spare! Given the above, shouldn't Egu get it over with an empty the bench?.....See you soon Uzoho (Akpeyi), Ndah, Onekuru, Onyeka, Ebuehi, and Olayinka. ht...

Great analysis!   The analyst took us back to school!  Having said that, if the Egyptians were really smart, they wouldn't have bothered double teaming Simon on the left. They would have simply conceded that wing to him, bunched up their players in the middle and...

Re: set Piece and crosses

Is it that our players are not paying enough attention at the club level to assist the national team or they just don't care? It did not get any better under the last coach. Check last WC stats. You just know the outcome of our set piece. Is Simon crossing with his weaker foot? Do we need a coach? Y...

So many corners and dead ball situations at major tournaments with zero end product.

set Piece and crosses

Firstly, I think that we need to be happy that we got the points and the game was well handled against Egypt. The issue of crosses, corners is an age long problem of the SE. i think that this is an issue better discussed in a seperate thread. We don't do too well with dead ball situations in Major t...

I also want to see musa with a good club team. I think we can still get something from him. Defenders won't joke with these guys

Re: First game of 2022 - Ighalo scored a good goal

I lost interest on this site following backlash against ighalo. Instead there was a lot on osimhe and others who have not proved themselves with the national team. I was also wondering our faith if the new players are unable to honour invitation. Well what is playing out now show that the coaches kn...

-**** praises his teams first half performance, says Ukraine’s second goal shouldn’t have stood. -Wants to play 2 more friendlies in October against African opponents. -Continues focusing on the age of his team saying this is the youngest he’s coached. -Gives respect to Benin so wants to have good ...

Re: BREAKING: Siasia Press Conference Tomorrow....

How do you arrive at such heavy punishment without the other party being given a fair hearing? even if the decision was eventually correct, i dont like this approach one bit. It sounds dictatorial and i think the world has gone past this. So we are now supposed to have accusations and counter accusa...

Re: CAF needs to come up with an African soccer strategy

maybe you need to look at this slightly differently. both 2014 finalist struggled this year. but for the respite argies got, they would have been out. that tells you how difficult it is to play at this level. korea beating ger? if the game becomes more open i think we stand a.chance. look at argies ...

Re: NFF releases proof of salary payment to Oliseh

This is d classic case of lying once and having to tell other lies to cover up. When you know u mess up and u cannot apologise, isn't it better to remain silent? Now we have an idea of what happens behind the scene. I think that we have a bunch of crooks running our football. Just a thought ...

Re: Losciuto: I was not paid for 6 months.....

I'm suprised siasia and other coaches took up d job all in d name of patrotism. They're all postponing the dooms day. Somehow we have to confront these issues facing us in order to move forward even at d expense of not competiting in competitions. I have followed the discussions on this forum on coa...

Re: Lagerback Says Fitness, Experience will Determine Final List

Lagerback said this and that. Less than 4 weeks to the world cup. All we've seen so far is table/paper soccer. No matches yet to fully access players. Not sure of what formation to adopt. I would be more worried as a coach.
