Re: GUN 1 - 0 NGR (2nd Half)
I am astonished at the level of great expectation from this dismal team.We will remain clueless until our football house is fixed. For now you all should brace up for the long & bumpy road to netherworld.

The man is running for his dear life after bilking the country of more than 150 million Naira.May Amadioha punish the clueless coach for the damage he visited on our football during his short stint.

Sad commentary on the failed security apparatus in Nigeria.Hopefully, this will galvanize the Federal Government into action as the spate of kidnapping spreads beyond the SE region.

Re: SIASIA NAMED NEW SE COACH.
I will take Siasia before another foreign coach but one wished he had experienced some success coaching at the senior level. There is no doubt about his potential as a coach with an in depth knowledge of some of the young players who will form the nucleus of our new team.

Re: Iniesta should have been sent off
I saw that too,the little Spanaird was lucky not to have been sent off.His offense against Von Brommel should have merited an automatic red card.Howard Webb was a disgrace, but the Dutch players were too cynical and negativistic and may have contributed to his decision.

My 12yo nephew is now a 7th grader and he was born in 1998 when Sunday Oliseh and co beat the Spanairds.Long time ago my brother, the current Spanish side will massacre our current troupe of jokers.

Re: The SE WC Delusion...
Our WC was over even before it began and some of us knew that going in.This post lamented the lack of preparation by our NFF and the need for long term planning by our football administrators. The fact that the writer was happy with the hiring of Lagerback to succeed Amodu was nonetheless obvious to...

Re: Lagerback paid $30,000 monthly imprest by NFF!!!!!
I really don't understand why Lagerback still has a job. Amodu qualified Nigeria for this WC UNBEATEN, winning 9 out of 12 games (including beating the hosts). He also got Nigeria to the SF of the ANC, finishing third and losing only to the two finalists: Egypt (3 time winners in a row) and Ghana (...

While Siasia is not my first choice for the job,I will take him any day over a foreign coach irrespective of the latter's world stature.

Re: "Nigeria Must Have A Foreign Manager."
Nigeria must not have a foreign coach based on your friend's short sighted belief. If his assertion were to be accepted, one could easily extrapolate that Nigerians need a foreign head of state for all the same reasons he is endorsing a foreign coach. It is time we dispensed with foreign coaches and i...

Re: Lars Largerback asked to stay on "KoC"
We will never learn anything as a nation,no mater the number of knocks we take. If we retain this wastepipe of a coach rather than appointing a local coach, our nation will be in soccer wilderness for a long time to come. It seems as if some people in our football house are afraid that he will reveal...

For the most part the Yankees won because they kept their poise, believed in themselves and had overflowing pride and passion for their country. In Nigeria some players are too puffed up and think they are doing their country a favor by even donning their national colors. In future I recommend that a...

Lagerback was not impressive and ruined the opportunity created by AMODU.He played 3 games, lost two and drew one, ending up with a solitary point and last position in a group from which most thought we would qualify.Gooner1 wrote:He is in the same class as amodu........totally clueless

I am sickened to my stomach when I read comments that refuse to accord credit to Amodu for his hardwork albeit under very difficult circumstances.Indeed, it is that mindframe and denial that have ruined our football and will continue to wreck havoc on it's development until we find it in our souls t...
