Come to think of it, apart from England, did France play any decent team on their way to the final?

This is probably one game too many for the French. That is a comment that would be made about an African team.

How do you win a World Cup final without being intense? Could French flaccidity be explained by the virus that reportedly ravaged their team? Let the excuses start!
