Yes they are. Look at our full backs, the DM and the 3 attacking players. All taller than the average footballer.EMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 8:45 pmThere not. The camera angle made them look taller, even the Niger players looked like giants.

Re: U17 WAFU B Qualifiers - Nigeria (1) v Niger (0)
Dangerous free-kick to Niger just at the edge of the penalty box. Second of such free kicks in 5 minutes. And red card to Nigerian defender. Poor from the referee. Very bad decisions. African refs! The man might as well be wearing Orange… All of Niger Rep’s chances have come off dodgy reffing decis...

We would be lucky to hold on to the lead.
But our defenders have been superb tonight but the pressure is mounting from all angles.

Re: U17 WAFU B Qualifiers - Nigeria v Niger
The usual problem with Nigerian teams. We struggle to create much in the 3rd half. We are now playing long balls that are easily being cut out. You can’t assemble a team 5 days before the competition and expect to dazzle the opponent. We need to embrace good prep and constant improvement rather tha...

Well done girls.
Do the girls have to undergo MRI tests too? I haven’t heard about them failing in high numbers.

Re: Probable starting 11 against SA and Benin
Bros, is it a different Akpoguma you keep hyping or the same that has underwhelmed every time he has featured for the SE? I agree Awaziem and Omeruo be retired. Ekong has not played since the AFCON final and is highly unlikely to play again this season for his club as they need a draw away from hom...

Re: U17 WAFU B qualifiers - Burkina Faso (0) vs Golden Eaglets (0) - FT
Burkina were the better team. But our defenders kept us in the game.
Our two full backs and right winger look good. Our No 10 is a luxury casual player. Good football brain but very little energy.
Hopefully we play better in the next game.

Re: Finidi George's Wages?.....Interesting.
Siasia never said he was paid N1m per month. He said the NFF pay local coaches N1m without mentioning who was paid N1m. Thank you. I believe what Siasia said. Do you also believe that he paid scouts from his N5m per month salary hence why the pay was insufficient? Many Nigerians who earn peanuts al...

I believe what Siasia said he was laid over the NFF's version. And that is not unreasonable. Where is the link to the NFF version? Also a link to where Siasia mentioned how much he was paid. Thanks. I believe what Siasia said in the interview that was posted here. I didn't talk about anything else....

Aruako I have loved the CE discourse on this very matter. This is the way discourses should be. It brings illumination to the issue. Not only have figures been brought to the fore but they have been dissected with rationales brought to bear. Which figures were "dissected" with rationales ...
