Re: Finidi's job as SE coach seems temporary.
Lolly is such a loser and a liar. He was part of the group that pushed for the firing of AModu .Which 2002 afcon squad was poor? Go back and watch the games. We also played with. 9 men..(Aghawonder and Udeze were both sent off) Senegal were very lucky in that match, Jayjay's free kick hit the post,...

Re: Here we go again: Open camp of SE to local talent-Finidi's first move
People that defended a coach selecting only 25 players when he could have selected 27 are criticising another for calling up local league players before foreign players come in. Bros, who defended the coach for selecting only 25 players when the decision was not his. Wasn’t it an affordability issu...

Re: Finidi's job as SE coach seems temporary.
I feel for Finidi. The general response to his appointment has been lukewarm with many Nigerians questioning his choice by the NFF. He has his work cut out and there are many waiting to sabotage him. Even among the 94 set, he was not their choice as they lined up behind Amunike. I just hope he does...

Re: Finidi's job as SE coach seems temporary.
But this current NFF leadership are useless and I don’t normally use the word for our officials.
Not having a press conference on his appointment after their social media post is scandalous. Or are they planning to reverse the decision to appoint him?

1785410996850622891 NOT WORTH COMMENTING ON THE RANT ABOVE BECAUSE... ...that would dignify this nonsense. I don't know him and I know I don't want to know him. But there's a bigger issue to address here - the suggestion that somehow George would be under the control of some cabal who would impose ...

Re: Here we go again: Open camp of SE to local talent-Finidi's first move
GEORGE, WOLVES AT THE DOOR It only took the hiring of a Nigerian by the NFF for a Nigerian job which is paid for by Nigerians to bring them out of the woodwork. How dare the NFF. How else do you explain starting a thread to upbraid the new coach for the allegedly wasteful and unproductive act of op...

Re: VICTOR IKPEBA Issues INSULT: "We Settled for him (Finidi)......"
Honestly people like Ikpeba shouldn’t be on committees like these or if they are, they should completely barred from making public comments. When it comes to what to say publicly vs not, he might as well be 6 years old He was making the comments on his show but he shouldn’t have said the things he ...

Re: Here we go again: Open camp of SE to local talent-Finidi's first move
There are two players I believe can help the Super Eagles. Sodiq Ismail , Right Back for Remo Stars Ikenna Cooper , midfielder of Enyimba I would like to see my client, Kingdom Osayi , invited as one of the goalies. Thank you sir. Those two players are good enough to be considered. I would have lov...

Re: Finidi had no assistant coaches vs Ghana/Mali
MANAGING PLAYERS Allegations have been made regarding Finidi (BTW, should we start referring to him as George (or something else) since we're on a last name basis here? I will.). I will withhold judgment until this becomes validated. Neither do we know what the alleged tiff was about, assuming it's...

Re: Kelechi Nwakali…
Kelechi is quite the conundrum, clearly gifted player with loads of technical ability, yet can't seem get a half decent team to play...I mean even a decent club in Belgium can't be bad for the guy. I thought the Portuguese league is ranked higher than the Belgian league? The team he plays is relega...

Re: OFFICIAL & BREAKING: NFF Finally Announces Finidi as Eagles Manager......
According to reports, the NFF would not be imposing assistants on Finidi, rather will give him the final say on who his assistants would be. According to Scorenigeria, Finidi will be bringing in a foreign assistant. He wants to bring in his own “Kalika”? It might be better. At least he won’t have t...

CONGRATULATIONS TO FINIDI To the naysayers - you know yourselves, despite the fake congratulatory notes, the false "hope he proves me wrong" and the "I'm praying for him" - your true sentiments are well documented here. Only a foreign manager, even a journeyman foreigner, inspir...

Re: STRATEGIC CHOICES FOR EAGLES under Finidi George
So apparently a mandate given to Finidi, is to give homebased players more opportunity in the team. This is Keshi all over again. We are in serious trouble. Isn’t that what proponents of “no more foreign coaches” want? They tell us we have plenty talent in the NPFL who can make the team better and ...

Re: Christian Chukwu owed by NFF for 19 years
What has Amaju got to do with this? Was he the NFF chairman when Chukwu was the coach? This is sad. Meanwhile, Amaju is extremely wealthy and made a lot of money from his position as NFF Chairman. Buhari paid debts and outstanding salaries and pensions left behind by Obasanjo and Jonathan. Meanwhil...

Was that a friendly? So that's what you got out of the statement? Couldn't it mean what he does when he has Osimhen, Boniface, Simon, Ekong, Aina, Moffi, Musa :taunt:, and Chukwueze available? Who are his assistants? Congratulations to Coach Finidi. Good question. Congratulations all the same to Fi...
