Re: Starting 11 and formation against Rwanda
I actually prefer your lineup cause it gives us more possession. Based on how many midfielders he invited versus attackers I can’t see him starting 4 out of 6 that were listed as midfielders while starting 2 out of 8 listed as attackers

Re: Starting 11 and formation against Rwanda
No way he starts 3 CDs. He only has 3 CDs in his final 23. He essentially told us he is not playing 3-4-3 or 3-5-2 by inviting only 3 CDs

One must also understand that Chelle can't make wholesale changes in his first two games with no friendlies he has to keep guys who have played for Nigeria before

Re: Final List: 23 Super Eagles of Nigeria players invited for Rwanda & Zimbabwe World Cup Qualifiers in March
The only let down is Cyril Dessers not making the squad with Boniface and Sadiq making the squad. The rest I can live with. The Papa Daniel guy over Onyeka is understandable if Chelle is looking for a more aggressive midfielder. Aribo makes the squad since we are thin on center halfs and he can play...

Even in the USA people are convicted based on eye witness testimony talk less of Italy. All it takes is for them to flip more than one of the accused and offer them a deal.
Okoye or the ref whoever guaranteed the yellow card will be the main target of the investigation

Re: Lookman or Saka
Why chose? They have both done well the past couple of seasons, so what season are you wanting people to cose on? Saka has not had a bad season while Lookman has had a couple. For country, I will pick the one who picked Nigeria. For club, who gives a rat's asz what Arsenal or Atalanta does? I was a...

Arsenal fans no well at all. Had to do a double take since I figured he had to be saying Lookman was way better
If Saka were playing for an African team no way he gets the APOY. I don’t rate him higher than Mohammed Kudus even though they play different positions

Rubbish no way Saka is better than Lookman and it’s not even closepackerland wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 2:22 pmNo he is not. However, Lookman has earned the right to sit on the same table with Saka. The only difference is the latter will be assigned the high table. Lookman is on his tail though.

Re: CAF Awards: APOY LOOKMAN
I’m such an Osimhen fan but Lookman’s win tops it all for me. This kid has been discounted and discarded so many times by so many people and he just knuckled down and did this. With real pride in his roots too. And somehow, I think there’s a lot more to come. Congrats Lookman. A winner has many fat...

How can Williams win the best goalkeeper of the year and also the best player playing in Africa, but is missing in the African eleven. We African are very funny. The first 11 is based on the most COMPETITIVE team you can put out. This is even funnier. How can Onana be picked in the first 11, but Wi...

I didn't see anything Osho did wrong today. But of course we lost so he must have been at fault. The pimps also need to whore out Taminu You conveniently forgot his debut... Taminu is still better than him, for now. What about today? We really like to distort facts on the platform. Taminu was not B...

Look at the foreign coach hustlers parading around, trying to create the narrative that our local coach is incompetent just to prepare people to accept a foreign coach. Hell no! I reject that garbage with every fiber of my being. Eguavoen is doing well. Support our own, invest in our own. I don’t w...

A loss at home to Rwanda will be an unmitigated disaster. Granted we are lready qualified for the ANC, Rwanda will be feelinbg very good about their chances against us in WC qualifiers. Not good at all It will a blessing in disguise for SE. It really is because, if nothing else, we’ve learned a use...

Re: Super Eagles squad for November AFCON qualifiers
Eguavoen is the NFF tech director and his two main assistants coach/manage clubsides in NPFL.. I would trust their knowledge of the NPFL. That's an aspect that makes it even more confusing IMO as Collins actually played for Daniel Ogunmodede in the NPFL last season where he only made 9 appearances ...

The same guy Finidi benched for Ihenacho (div 2 bench) and some tried to justify it. This is why the country doesn’t progress.
