Re: How do you blame Finidi for this?
"See-Reel" has not been lighting it up, but the gestures and anguish after missing that chance showed that he knew had blown his chance at the most competitive position in the SE and most importantly, winning for Nigeria is important to him . A Nigeria that has "given him nothing"...

Re: So how can Peseiro fix the Eagles.
Without a proper data dive, I would say we moved the ball slower today, something that Peseiro and astute fans before him had said was a problem. We need to fix this and start looking for midfielders in the same type of places Nwabali was hiding.

Re: Commitment of foreign born players
You're talking about people who think players born overseas are "begged" to play for Nigeria. And now we have "unleash your inner Naijarianess". What does this mean? Genuinely curious. I think the NFF should recruit players. Market the Naijarian men's national team but NO...

Re: Brazil's early World Cup exit: What went wrong for Neymar & Co., and were Tite's tactics to blame?
The answer is that they were unlucky. They had more shots on goal than in the Korea game and Allison had more saves. Any sportsman will tell you, some days anything you touch flies in, other days it is like you are jazzed or something. They have a very good team going forward. No need to overthink ...

Re: Morocco - Best African team ever.
A Nigerian coach would not make it out of the stadium playing 25% possession counterattacks with 3 shots on goal talk less of being called good no matter the result. Morocco is playing advanced African "smash and grab" football perfected by many clubsides and also used to inflict trauma in...

There's still an African team left and I will say before the match that I expect a proper battle on Tuesday. Nevertheless, no one is going anywhere in the knockout round without their keeper playing a blinder.

Cameroun carried out a smash and grab in broad daylight using "hey yous" and the keeper from accounts department Sunday league. The silence of the Brazilians tells you they know what just hit them, this was no team of Kanu, Babayaro, Taribo, Amunike, Okocha, Ikpeba, Oliseh etc. The counter...

Re: NOW that Herve Renard has Crashed out???????
1) I do not see our current crop of players handling "why don't you take your camera with you so you can take a picture with Messi" well. 2) National team goalkeeping has gone up a notch. We have not. Al Owais is a big part of the Saudi showing, in fact I doubt Seaman or Barthez would make...
