Ghana are doing Africa proud
Regardless of the final outcome of this game, the Black Stars ahave restored some pride back to our continent. How I wish it could have been Nigeria, but I am happy that at least one team of Africans have stepped up to the plate.

Re: WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO AFRICAN FOOTBALL??
I actually think that Ghana are the only ones that are playing African football. They have pace, they are strong and they fight. What they do not have is a goalscorer and that is why the will ultimately fail. I agree with the OP (original poster) regarding the rest of the teams though.

Re: Will Algeria disgrace Africa more than Zaire did in 74?
No African team will repeat such foolishness but I fear for the organisation of Nigeria its as if the people running the shaow come from that era of total non professional African football,I could tell you that Algeria are much more organised than our nigeria both on & off the pitch! http://for...

Re: 10 things Lagerback needs to do over the next 4 years
Lagerback does not want to be there for 4 years! We all know that. Has he told you that? How asinine can you get? The loser signed a five-month contract! It was the NFF that insisted on an initial five-month contract with an option of renewal after the World Cup. All the noises we have been hearing...

Re: The NFF are very Quiet Now............
The only funny thing here is that while you think they are quiet because they care, they are really only quiet because they are busy counting their $$$! Its like a child(Those wey get pikin go fully appreciate wetin I mean), when a toddler is very quiet for period, you'd better start looking around...

Re: Why Lagerback?
I cannot fathom why we this fossil was appointed. When you factor in that his main competition was Glenn Hoddle, a man (for all his failings) has coached Chelsea, Spurs and England and is recognised as a great coach and has academies of his own, it is beyond belief. I can't imagine any other countr...

Re: Let's be honest - this team is poor!
We didn't have a shot on goal (despite being one up) before Kaita got sent off. Greece may well be the worst side in the competition, but this is one of the worst Nigerian sides I've ever seen.TOWER OF STRENGTH wrote:well, we weren't playing that badly before Kaita got sent off!!!

Re: Chasing the game, why didnt he bring on our trump-card, Kanu
Those who took to the stand, bible in hand and solemnly swore to tell the truth and nothing but, were shown the ills of their testimony. Chasing the game, where was the man who's selection was on the premise that he was ideal for such moments. With the pace pedestrian, why did Lagerback look to eve...

Re: Coach Amodu: Imagine if he was the Nigerian coach yesterday
foreign coach dis, foreign coach dat... : :D This na attention seeking at its peak. Drop this and rally behind the team. They did good yesterday. Er...no, they didn't do good. One shot on target and a man of the match performance from our goalie, suggests we didn't do good at all. It's not even tha...

I don't know any English-born Nigerians that support England. Britain is on our passport, but Nigeria is in our blood.

Good first half from Ghana. I hope they do the business and win the game in the second. We need the African teams to do well.
