Re: When did you realise that Keshi was wrong for us?

When we could only beat Tahiti by 9 goals and dudes like Oduamadi were on the team. He kept including and fielding players who had no business on the team. I know the NFF and Football Associations should be interested in improving the stock of their players, but the players that he was giving opport...

Maybe not qualifying for Afcon might be a blessing in disguise. It will force the NFF to clean house.

Keshi seemed clueless, didnt do anything remotely tactical, just went with personnel changes.

Re: Going forward, it must now be about philosophy!

I agree with Goldleaf, there is no clear philosophy on Keshi's teams. In addition, there are some areas of team performance that can be addressed and be impactful in their results. However, elevating Manu Garba to head coach of the Super Eagles might be a bridge too far.

Re: Ramon Azeez. How to destroy a young player's confidence?

what we are talking about is not rocket science. Why do many people on CE see what is painfully obvious, yet the dummy fraudster just can't get it. I used to think Ke$hi was just corrupt, but it is becoming very apparent that not only is he corrupt, he is just a dumb and stubborn man. Options for A...

Re: NIGERIA V N. KOREA MATCH THREAD 6-2

Yes, that is exactly what I said at that time, and I stand by it. There is difference between been calling stuff the way it is, and being patriotic. Peter Dedebvo has done a decent job in that he has fixed a few areas where the team was weak, and focused on the strength of the team. After all, we h...

Re: NIGERIA V N. KOREA MATCH THREAD 6-2

CE comments after the first match against Mexico Technically, we dominated the Mexicans, and did so for extended periods, however the result is piss poor. We lack good decision making in the offensive third, and will be exposed defensively by better teams. I don't see us going far in this tournamen...

And better looking jerseys, the ones that Adidas has been churning out are fuggly. For the world cup in Brazil, they should have come out with a variation of the 1994 jersey. Instead, they came out with a plain ordinary jersey....

Unfortunately, it appears some contractor took a boat load of money and didn't build the field right. A proper field should slope from the middle, so water collects in the corners and is properly drained. Shameful!:(

I think Olofinjana is an engineer of some kind. The bobo might be playing soccer professionally, but he has a degree and if football doesn't work out he has something to fall back on.

I just watched the highlight on fifa.com. How can it be a PK against Nigeria, when it is a 50-50 ball, and our goalie had the ball in her hands. Granted, her momentum took her into the English player. It was pure ojoro.

Re: SIASIA WAS A BETTER COACH THAN KESHI

I agree with most of the forumers, Keshi is a better man manager, Siasia is a better tactician. Unfortunately, Keshi's teams tend to be boring, except if a player does something out of the ordinary. In a Siasia team, they are solid tactically, solid technically, and firing on all cylinders. With the...

Re: Update on Victor Moses

There was an excellent article on Bleacher Report about Victor Moses and what he most likely needs to do to regain his form. Actually, Moses doesn't need to do much to "regain his form". All Moses needs is a chance to perform. And he definitely wasn't given that chance at Liverpool. But t...
