Re: Chelsea have appointed Seyi Olofinjana into a talent management Role

The University of Calabar similarly trained some of our ex-footballers who are coaches, who are thus "the product of major INVESTMENT by the Nigerian government(s) in ... education and INDIGENOUS capacity development". Why have the product of this MAJOR INVESTMENT in healthcare, like HMV ...

Re: NFF Contacts Herve Renard

CE should volunteer to pay the new NFF coach. We can even employ one and second him to the NFF

I am sure some CE members can coach the CE based on their 'knowledge' of the game.

Re: Chelsea have appointed Seyi Olofinjana into a talent management Role

I bet you know there was. I see you are trying to downplay the residual benefit of hiring Westerhoff and keeping him for 6 years by bringing Betty Vogts into the discussion. What's the difference? Lazy Betty isn't really oyinbo?!  There's a discussion that could be had about the &q...

Re: Chelsea FC Appoints Seyi Olofinjana

The guy is over qualiied to be a scout helper. He should look for a better job. The NFF should appoint him to be the U20 coach or he should coach a club side in Europe. NOPE ...he should stay away from Nigeria. They wouldn't care about his qualifications when they start tearing him apart in Nigeria...

Re: [Euro 2024] Netherlands 1(Xavi) Hingran 2 (Kane, Watkins)

I have historically supported anyone over England but I find it hard to not admire this team. The comeraderie is immense. Kane is a captain that battles for his team, and Southgate is like a big mentor to the players, not just a coach. My only concern about an England win is the press and their OTT...

AFTER 2 matches?

He was not my choice for SE coach but IF a coach is a disaster after TWO matches then your recruitment process is terrible.

Re: SEGUN ODEGBAMI ON RETURN OF RANGERS

The name Rangers does not refer to a cannon. It was an elite Biafran army fighting unit… Indeed, antelopes don’t fly but if they did, they would be Rangers🤔👍🏿😀❗️ Cheers. TTTK, Good points. I read that from Segun and it is indeed an error. The name Rangers comes from a Biafran paramilitary group tha...

Re: How did Taminu

Was not any worse than Semi Ajayi and Bassey yesterday. Semi was better than the two other CDs, though he had an off day too. Bassey was atrocious. Someone said he was on holiday before camp opened. It showed. He was on holiday. The courage to not call players who are not match fit is difficult to ...

Re: Score Nigeria Finidi: I can’t beg Osimhen to play for Super Eagles

I just hate the way one of our best ever player, George Finidi, is being insulted and disrespected! He may not have been the best coach for the SE but he doesn’t deserve all the abuse he’s getting from Nigerians online. He served us with dedication when he was a player and was only trying his best ...

https://scorenigeria.com.ng/finidi-i-cant-beg-osimhen-to-play-for-super-eagles/#google_vignette I hope Finidi did not pick out Osimhen for criticism? The lad was clearly not fully fit and not ready to risk long term injury. We can’t blame him. Finidi initially called up 5 strikers, so he had 4 othe...

We use to hear of how coaches who are professionals should resign when their position is no longer tenable. Kudos and much respect to Finidi for doing the RIGHT thing.

Re: Why I didn’t use Boniface against South Africa – Finidi

The players that don’t play are always the solution! Anyone who watched the Europa League final would know that Boniface is not in his best shape or form. He was a non playing substitute in the German Cup final a few days later to further buttress his situation. He was one of the early birds to cam...

Re: This should be our starting 11 against Benin Republic

Anyone who focuses solely on the coach after the first game has an agenda. It's that simple. Like someone said, what is the coach's decision that Ademola chose to dribble than pass the ball? Was it the coache's decision that Ndidi and Osayi couldn't track their man that lead to the goal? Nonsense a...

Nwabali Bassey Semi Ajayi Tanimu Ndidi Onyeka Iwobi Chukwueze Dele-Bashiru Ademola Lookman Boniface /Moffi This is the line up we should have started against SA, looks more balanced. Re: Nigeria was unlucky not to win, but you make your own luck with better selection

First and foremost, I agree Bafana could have run away with the game in the first half, but that is this Bafana team for you. A compact side that moves the ball very well, but a limited side that is profligate in front of goal. This could have been 3-1, or 4-1 for us in the 2nd half. Not awarding t...
