Re: AFCON and Covid??

That's your problem. You don't read. You just listen to European rubbish from their media outlets and you then dump it on CE. It smells by the way. Please utilize Google which will give you the reason. You should understand summer in Europe is, summer in Africa. South Africans will disagree. :D On ...

Re: Real Madrid's new stadium

Two words. Carbon footprint. Certainly a worth consideration. To address that, the arena could all be powered using renewable energy, and maximising the utility of one structure, rather than building multiple arenas that each get limited use, will further reduce the net carbon footprint from constr...

Re: Olympic Track and Field…

 Kai that sucked. He had a good chance of winning yeap, he would have finished top 3, he has a very solid start , top speed and acceleration. You could see when he powered on some more, the hammy gave in. Good thing the bobo is still young. We had three guys in the 100M and they all performed ...

Re: 10 Nigerian Athletes declared ineligible for Tokyo 2020

You these abroad people have come again dragging Nigeria down and always complaining. You are right that complaining will do no one any good. At the same time we can all see that Nigeria is down. Can we put our brains together to come up with ideas on how to lift this country we all love back home?...

Just completely numbing? Isn’t it? If one thing will give us hope, it’s that it’s getting harder and harder to pretend everything is ok in Nigeria.

Re: 24-team AFCON Confirms its Worth!

I've been watching the AFCON since the 80s and it was always a very vibrant competition no matter where it was hosted. I don't know how the competition is doing financially now with sponsorship etc. but watching this one, it felt like the competition is going extinct. It seems increased access to E...

What proceeds? I suspect those proceeds may not reflect the full revenue brought in by respective teams.

Re: Is CAF for Real? This is Sheer Madness in Group A!

You are a comedic revisionist. So because Algeria had several coaches that meant that Mahrez, Slimani, Faghouli, Brahimi, Ghoulam etc became bad players overnight. Any word about Nigeria dominating a group that contained the same Cameroon team that won the last AFCON? Yes Nigeria was "exposed&...

Re: Is CAF for Real? This is Sheer Madness in Group A!

Pretty average group. Egypt and DRC will make it through. If Zimbabwe beat Uganda convincingly and maybe get a result against DRC, then they too will go through as one of the best 3rd placed team. Group D is the one that stands out as a Group of Death.

Re: Biesla "spy gate" what's the outrage about?

I do not think this is a big deal, at least IMO. We complain here that our coaches do not send people to go watch opponents or acquire videos to watch opponents. Now someone does it and we should judge that wrong? Let Frank Lampard go eat VULTURE. :curse: :curse: It's not illegal. It's not like he ...

Re: The Arsenal FC - Related News and Development for 2018/2

I agree it was time for Wenger to leave. That said, he laid the foundation for this team. The addition of Lacazette and Aubameyang has been immense. Arsenal then strengthened further with Leno and Torreira. Add to that, these players are all one year more mature.

Re: TAKE A LOOK INSIDE BELOVED SPORTSCITY SURULERE - VIDEO

At this point, might as well rip the stadium down and rebuild a brand new world class complex. The stadium in its current state is unsalvageable. Anyone that thinks it is does not understand how modern construction costs work. Besides, that Surulere area has a host of issues with traffic flow and m...

Re: ROHR IS STAYING - Pinnick

Anyone calling for the dismissal of Gernot Rohr is regressive and wants us to spoil all the good work done so far. Rohr took on the job after back to back AFCON failures and built a team that not only qualified from a group of death in Africa but missed qualification from another group of death in ...
