Yes. He does. Both should have been capped by now. He also needs to take a look at the younger midfielders, Victor Eletu and Ebenezer Akinsanrimo.

Re: Tella excuses himself from WCQ, Olawoyin called up as replacement

Ejuke would have been a better replacement. Sani Suleiman does look like a talent tho. We will probably have to play Dele-Bashiru or Boniface on the wings depending on formation. With Tella out, I would play a 4-3-3 or 4-2-1-3. We don't have enough players in the squad used to playing the WB role. O...

Re: Sani Suleiman (Akwa United) go solve some problems in the Super Eagles.

He looks like a real talent. According to Transfermarket he has 8 goals in 14 games which is very productive for a right winger. It would make sense for a player like that to be called up to replace an injured Samuel Chuwkueze.

Re: TEAM LIST OUT FOR WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS.

No guarantee. However, I'll go with Osayi-Samuel cos of his experience. Here's my IX(3-5-2): Nwabali Bassey (LCD) Awazeim (CD) Ajayi (RCD) Yusuf (DM) Ndidi (DM) Iwobi (AM) Osayi-Samuel (LWB) Tella (RWB) Osihmen(CF) Lookman (CF) Not a guarantee Osayi Samuel will start. Sodiq could the the RWB and Tel...

It's unfortunate they didn't make the U17 world cup. They are still some talents in the team that we should keep an eye on tho

Re: SODIQ ISMAIL.... First SE Call Up and things to know.

Not every player can switch wings as comfortably as Aina. Most actually have difficulty with it. Iwobi could be another option as a left or right wingback, tho I think we need him more centrally. He's played as a WB for Everton in the past. I could also see Fisayo Dele-Bashiru doing well as a RWB. I...

Re: TEAM LIST OUT FOR WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS.

Iwobi and probably Dele-Bashiru could also possibly play RWB. I would play either of the two there before Nacho Okoye Awazien Ajayi Bassey Osayi. . Iwob....ndidi onyeka ..Tella Vic. Lookman Okoye in goal? It ain't happening, bros. You think say dis na friendly? No sane manager will do that unless Nw...

I thought he was a RB. Can he also play WB? Not every RB automatically makes a good WB.

Aina can play on either wing. He's solid as a LWB

The problem with that is you may struggle to keep the assistants for a reasonable amount of time if they are not properly compensated

Ejuke then probably Chukwueze. Simon and Boniface are good dribbles too.

Re: Here we go again: Open camp of SE to local talent-Finidi's first move

If he's the coach of the CHAN team, open camp will help. It could also help with discovering players that could be referred to the U20 amd U23 teams, assuming Finidi talks with those coaches as he should. He may discover 1-3 players for the main SE, but I'm not expecting more than that.

Re: The untouchables..the 33 the best ever

I'm 41 and have been following the SE since about 1990. Do we have another RB that has performed so well at 3 AFCONs? People will name Sofoluwe and Okpala. However, were either of those 2 as consistent as Aina was in the AFCON? Also, Aina played consistently in Serie A and now in the EPL. When are w...

Re: The untouchables..the 33 the best ever

When are we going to start adding Ola Aina as one of our best ever FBs? Personally, I think he's the best RB I've ever seen play for Nigeria. The man has straight up balled at 3 AFCONs now, and can switch effortlessly to either the left or right side of the pitch.

Re: Noni Madueke lost to England too.

He will committ to Nigeria when he hits 24 or 25 and is yet to play for England. That's what many of them do. I would probably do the same if I were in their shoes.
