My question is why does this matter? I think the best players should play irrespective of their country of birth.

Both are early in their development for goalkeepers they will get better and push each other with more games. Plus it's not like we have obviously better right now.

So who are the goal keepers ...

He legitimately does not have faith in the quality of African players or his coaching ability to make the team push above its weight.

He sounds more like a club coach than national team coach. Team spirit, uniting vision and sense of belief can inspire a severely limited team to do more.

This strictly for fun and perhaps a radical thouhg - but I feel Obi Mikel could make a good coach,he would garner resepect of the current squad. Perhaps a more realistic shout would be Yobo or Amuneke. Frankly I feel like we have slim pickings
