Re: Africa is not good at football
Africa is showing something. Ghana won. Cameroon got a result, even if they're in a hole with Brazil coming. The Atlas Lions of Morocco...man I love say their full name...have been magnificent. I have high hopes for them and really enjoy their style, organization, discipline, and passion. I believe...

Re: European Teams at the World cup 2022
If FIFA still had the World cup at 32 teams, I would have begged them to take two slots away from Africa! We are terrible! Cameroon, no win since 2002 Tunisia has 2 wins in 6 World Cup appearances Ghana, the last win was in 2010 Morocco, last win since 1998 Africa needs more places. If more African...

Re: Let us be honest Europe has only 5 to 6 good and top teams
I don’t think the top 5-6 teams are the same for every World Cup cycle. The point remains that Europe’s many places is often justified by the performances and results. It might look a little different if you look at performances by the teams that are below the top tier.

Re: Let us be honest Europe has only 5 to 6 good and top teams
I agree. Unfortunately it is not going to be possible to reduce the number of teams from Europe hence the move to increase the number of teams from other confederations

Re: [WC 2022] South Korea 0-2 Ghana
When you think about it, 3 of Ghanas defenders play in the Prem. Partey plays for Arsenal. Kudus ia a star in Ajax. They have some real quality Yes, aside from Osimhen, not sure there is any other Nigerian player that would walk into their team That's not true, We have players in Porto, Ajax, Club ...

I am laughing because it seems obvious. They have been the most impressive African representative, IMHO.

US with the best chance of advancing followed by Costa Rica but it is quite possible none of the CONCACAF countries make it through.

Re: [WC 2022] BELGIUM 0 MOROCCO 2 (Sabiri, Aboukhlal) FT
This is why we should hire our own coaches. These Euro teams are overrated Based on what? Maroc has a functional league with professional clubs and coaches. We don’t have any such things. All Nigerian institutions are broken. How do you expect a competent coach to emerge from such morass? The gradu...

Ghana really gave it a go and were unlucky with refereeing as is usual. Unfortunately they are in a difficult group and are unlikely to make it through the group

So much gnashing of teeth about a meaningless friendly game. We should be more introspective about our failure to qualify for the World Cup. BTW Portugal doing the same thing to Ghana

Re: THIS IS WHY, THESE GAMES NEED 2 GO 2 LAGOS NOT ABUJA !!
‘Fans as a 12th man’ is overblown. This team did not do enough over two legs. Play was choppy and incoherent. Too much chopping and changing of the team for no clear reason. I doubt it would have been any different if they played in Lagos

Re: Egu and Tunisia again
No reason to underestimate Tunisia who are ranked higher than Nigeria per FIFA. Nigeria are no favorites but should be eager to prove they deserve a higher ranking than their opponents Who takes FIFA ranking seriously Obviously CAF does, hence using to determine seeding for the World Cup qualificat...
