Re: Finidi not willing to work with Amokachi, Amuneke
What I am confused about is why Finidi does not appear to already have his team as a professional coach. A serious and professional manager would already have his team- assistant, physio, GK trainer, analyst, etc. And in his case it would be from his job at Enyimba in which case his contract fee wo...

e don commot Elliot and the fans rightly boo him. Smh. this man needs to be arrested. Never happened... I watched the match. Perhaps on a stolen stream :rotf: :rotf: Nobody boos Klopp at Anfield. Plus LFC fans have little or no history of booing one of theirs, unless you are Roy :D Was there booing...

Re: Lessons the WC Taught me: A new theory of the game!
So what is football? Football is an emotion. Yes, it begins with talent; it always does...But ultimately it is a sport powered by human emotion... Why? How is it that a Samson Siasia, near useless at Nantes, is simultaneously a superb midfielder at the AFCON and WC for Nigeria? How is a Jaden Sancho...

We have a culture of self deceit. Yemi knows that the subject here is completely different from that of poor refereeing incidents which you will always have in football. This investigative report is about corruption And you know that the "poor refereeing" in the EPL is not due to criminal...

He's brought him along very nicely.
But I agree completely that he's best suited in central MF.

Re: Will this justify calling Bameyi to the SE?
Context is everything... The 21-man squad will be made up of local players from the first division, with the likes of Darwin Nunez and Federico Valverde in the mix. But Bielsa is unable to bring in players from Nacional, Penarol, Liverpool, Racing and Danubia as they have commitments in the Copa Lib...

Re: U17 team crisis- Manu Garba having problems
The MRI test is not 100 percent correct all the time. There are false positives. The blame is the NFF. Appointing a coach 1 month before an event. Waiting untill the last minute to do MRI tests. Normally the MRI tests are done much earlier to get eligible players for campaign. It takes time to teac...

Re: “There is still bad blood” – Amunike makes first comments since losing Super Eagles job to Finidi
INTRIGUES ARE NOT LIMITED TO NIGERIA OR THE NFF It's in everything worldwide, not just sports. We don't know if there's any in this case and if there is, it's not necessarily ill-motivated - there may be legitimate reasons to pick one person over another, especially if only one can be picked. If Am...

Re: “There is still bad blood” – Amunike makes first comments since losing Super Eagles job to Finidi
...I wish all these promising former SE players wanting to coach the national team go coach top club sides, anywhere, win something and make name, and be noticed. I think the issue is for them to invest in themselves. Does not have to necessarily be a top club. But most of them have had careers in ...
