Re: US Women vs. Wrexham

Chai. Some people are wicked. One of the comments on YouTube said that the video should be part of the USWNT equal pay negotiations.

Re: Neymar: African Players Do Not Have Passion For Their Countries

Remember when Okocha and other SE players missed national team training because they claimed to have got lost (for several days apparently) on their way to the training ground? I totally agreed with Neymar! African players, especially the Nigerian players show a lack of passion and desire to play fo...

Re: US Women vs. Wrexham

Your hypothesis has already been tested and proved in "live conditions". If a group of 14 yo boys can beat the best women's team in the world 5-2, and an amateur men's team can beat the England women's team (European champions) 7-2, what would a trained professional men's team do to them? ...

Re: US Women vs. Wrexham

Some more context for this match: 1) Lee Trundle (the Wrexham player who scored 4 goals) is 46yo and last played professional football about 10 years ago. 2) The scenario you described (USWNT against a boy's team) has happened before. A few years ago an U15 boys team from Dallas beat the USWNT (whic...

Re: Manchester United - News, Developments & Season

The FA Cup final will be the 4208th consecutive match in which Manchester United has had a youth team player in its squad. This unbroken record goes back 86 years all the way back to 1937 (before World War 2 and before Alex Ferguson was born). https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-12147...

Re: Peter Olayinka Leaving Slavia Prague

I like Olayinka's style of play. He reminds of Awoniyi in that he is not elegant, but is an utter pain in the a-- for defenders because he works non-stop for 90 minutes and will not give them a moment of peace. Not someone you build a team around but someone you can bring in to do a job (e.g. if you...

Re: Chelsea FC- News, Developments & Season

It says much about Chelsea’s current state that it is getting into Twitter spats with a relegated team.

Re: Nacho & Ndidi Relegated. Iwobi survives drop.

If Leicester keeps its current squad on the same wages in the Championship, and does not immediately get promoted back to the Premier League, the club will be bankrupt within a few years.

Re: Nacho & Ndidi Relegated. Iwobi survives drop.

Oddly enough I think Ndidi is the more likely of the two to remain in the EPL because his playing style is suited to the league. Iheanacho would score more goals in France or Turkey.

Iheanacho and Ndidi would struggle to get any takers in the Premier League especially Ndidi.

Wout Weghorst: 0 Premier League goals in over 20 weeks he played for Man Utd. The first miss in his “highlight reel” below was against Fulham in the final match of the season yesterday. https://twitter.com/PuttickH/status/1663125245069230082?s=20 https://twitter.com/HenryNanthony/status/166288481226...

Re: Nacho & Ndidi Relegated. Iwobi survives drop.

It did not matter which of Everton and Leicester got relegated because Iwobi, Iheanacho, and Ndidi are not going to play in the Championship. Even if they want to stay Leicester will be pushing Iheanacho and Ndidi out of the door because they cannot afford to pay Premier League salaries in the Champ...

Re: Senegal to dominate African football longterm?

Looks like it is between Senegal 🇸🇳 and Morocco 🇲🇦 (clubs from the latter are African Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup holders). 🏆
