Re: Ndidi suffers knee ligament damage

Ndidi missing the Ghana matches will turn out to be a blessing in disguise. For all his tackling and ball-winning, he doesn't offer much offensively and we need a DM that can also move the ball against a Partey- led Ghana midfield that is their strength. Mobile and cohesive midfielders will match th...

Re: FOR THE RECORD: SE is DEEP into DUDU........

Odds are that Dennis and Lookman may not start. Better odds are that they will likely play. Adding Dennis, Lookman and Bassey to the team and dropping a few of those from AFCON to strengthen the team makes sense. Which Super Eagles fan wouldn't salivate at a Dennis-Osimhen-Lookman attack against Gha...

Re: Abuja Will host our WCQ

Unfortunately, Uyo is not going to happen. POLITICS! Previous Governor versus current Governor. Let's pray and hope for the best. Hopefully the pitch would be sorted out. Under Udom, the SEs have played in Uyo, so what's the issue between the governors? I'm similarly puzzled at this assertion.Godsw...

Re: Nigeria's top 3 strikers.....opinion

For me it is not about who's the best striker but rather which is the best combination for our attack. If we cast our mind back we will remember that while Yekinni was being played as our top striker alongside Amokachie he wasn't even the top striker in the Portuguese league where he was playing th...

One of the frustrating things about Rohr was his penchant for under- selling his own team and respecting the opponents too much even if they were CAR.

Moses' agent already saying "Moses isnt so excited to be comming back" and "he will only play for a year" Now I dont know how true these reports are but If this is the kind of attitude that he will be bringing, then we dont need him. He is not Ronaldo. Let me guess, your source ...

Re: Highs, lows of Rohr’s tenure as Super Eagles coach

 The high was the 4-0 destruction of the afcon champions Cameroon. The Low was losing 1-0 to CAR at home. One happened near the beginning, and the other near the end. I believe Rohr started very well with the team, he was on course to becoming the greatest ever SE coach, but something happened...

I would like Amaju Pinnick to tell Nigerians publicly why the SE cannot play in the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo. Re: I'm sorry but Rohr has got to go

Rohr is an archaic coach. His coaching career ended after he was fired at his french club . He is just making a pension with teams like Nigeria and other Wowo Africans. The real test is will a Nigerian be hired in German or will a German with his resume be hired by the German national team or any t...

Re: Ndidi out, but Osimhen leads Nigeria list for CAR as Rohr also hands debut call up to Rangers star

Rohr understands, he must have players in SE from the north whether the player is good or not. Rohr for the most part picks his own selected players on merit. He doesn't venture out too much. Ejaria and Lookman are never coming to SE. They don't want them. If that’s the case, he could have picked S...

We need Vic Mo back in SE. We cannot have a player of his talent and experience playing top football and not playing for SE. We need him! I completely agree! Vic is needed in our team. You cant buy experience. A lot of these things can be ironed out by talking. That is NFF and Vic Moses. I think th...

Very frustrating to watch. Won't contest loose balls, won't fight for headers, won't tackle, won't hustle. If you're going to be a luxury player, you better be scoring or assisting LOTS of goals. But he doesn't. I pray to God we can get Olise for SE to provide some competition. Maybe even puch Arib...

Re: PETER RUFAI: Give SE Goalkeepers Equal Opportunities.....

In truth, neither Uzoho or Okoye have done enough to convince as #1. Allowing Okoye to keep all through may hurt the chances of the other keepers( I hope club pedigree is not a factor). But, maybe he earns the starts in training.

Re: Has Musa's Captainship Served the Players Well? DISCUSS....

I have been thinking of this as follows and I hope you can chime in: 1. Is Musa's continued captainship beneficial to the NFF? Perhaps, it may have led to players not vehemently protesting the NFF indebtedness to the players. Think of the era of Mikel Obi, Vincent Enyeama, Sunday Oliseh, etc. Maybe...

Seems like ESPN+ is taking away deals that BEIN had, hitting them in the pockets. But I think BEIN still has rights to the ANC. Anyway, I think ESPN+ is a better option because its platform allows easy access to all the ongoing matches. BEIN does not have the same capabilities. I watched Senegal vs...

Re: Ahmed Musa to Clock a Century of Games for Super Eagles....

This thread illustrates what is wrong with Nigeria. There has been a deliberate plan by the NFF and powers that be for Musa to become the highest capped Nigerian. His invitations and obligatory 10 ineffectual minutes he has logged in recent matches have all been part of the agenda. So, we'll kick En...
