Re: Local Coach Advocacy- Like Forrest Gump!
In the context of Nigeria there is a difference. The NFF discriminate against local coaches. They provide more support to foreign coaches than to local coaches. Foreign coaches that don't deserve it gets paid more than local coaches. Rohr, Peseiro earned more than Oliseh and Keshi. Keshi qualified a...

Re: Nigeria Super Falcons 1 South Africa 0 Live Stream | Africa Olympic Qualifiers
Should have won by 4 goals. Played well but didn't finish their chances. So you finally admit they played well that’s what Randy can do. Now compare that to their last game couple of games against Ethiopia and against Cameroon with your clueless local coach when Randy wasn’t there. I still don't kn...

Re: If we don't qualify for the World Cup
Some fans will blame the new coach. But I will not. The fault is squarely on the NFF and WOWO Nigerians. The sad part is they will repeat the same mistakes in 2030. We can only hope we get lucky and lucky our way into good leadership. That is our only chance because the system is setup to encourage ...

Re: If we don't qualify for the World Cup
It is difficult to win games in International football. You only have a few days to work with players. That is why it is important to have long term planning. The more you get to work with players the better. All serious countries have coaches in place, months in advance or years in advance before w...

Re: Nigeria Super Falcons 1 South Africa 0 Live Stream | Africa Olympic Qualifiers
I don't even think the NFF care. Isn't this under the Nigerian Olympic committee and the sports ministry?
Well even if it was under the NFF, they haven't really cared about the Falcons.

By chance I was flipping through and saw Uchena Kanu and Oshaola play on tv. Uchena Kanu scored twice. Oshaola was a handleful for her club. Ordega can't make the current squad. Also have some good young players coming through.

Re: New FIFA Rankings , SE drops
I don't think the Mali game is part of the rankings. Also UEFA games also have more weight. Again Europeans unfair practices. You are so clueless. Yes the Mali game is part of the rankings. And no the UEFA games are not more weight, that practice ended 4 or 5 years ago when the ranking was reformed...

Based on that interview. I dont think he is a good candidate. But you can't judge a book by the cover. The NFF need to interview him. Lets hear his plans for the team. You never know. Ohenhen1, What did you notice in the interview that makes him an unsuitable candidate? Please be clear and definiti...

Big test for Nigeria. I wish them success even I don't see the need for them to hire Randy Waldrum. This situation reminds me of an American that prefers to buy a big Ford mustang because it is fast and has good designs. But the car easily breaks. Sensible people would rather buy a good Toyota Camry...

Re: FINIDI GEORGE IS A TERRIBLE COACH
Not every one will be happy. it is part of the sport. 17 out of 23 players got minutes. The NFF need to stop undermining the coach. Stop going around telling players while they are in camp that they will soon get a foreign coach. Also appoint assistants to help the coach. Nigeria is developing a gen...

Re: Nsien Interview -
While I believe he has something to offer, I don’t think he is the right man for the job at this point in time when we have the huge challenge of trying to qualify for the World Cup starting in a few months time. We need someone who is familiar with the system and the players and that person is Fin...

Re: Nsien Interview -
I will tell you people lthe truth. The reality is Nigeria is in trouble. There are no more minnows in Africa. And we dont have a team. What we need to do is rebuild. Focus on the midfield and defense. Our midfielders even Ndidi and Iwobi have not been playing well when they are on international duty...

The task Nigeria is facing is difficult. I don't even know why he would want the job. If I were him, I would stay with the US U19 team, and coach a MLS team. I don't think he understands the hot seat. They would have to give me atleast a 2 year contract and high wages for me to consider the job. Al...

If they hire him. I will support him and wish for success. I will give him the usual 6 months to see the direction of the team. Then will decide if he is good enough. I am fair and consistent whether na local coach or foreign coach. It is equal treatment. if he is not up to standard, he has to go. ...

If I were Finidi I would resign. Look for work in another African country. Does the new expat law apply to the NFF? Or does it only apply for foreign owned companies? You know finidi has a day job right as the coach of Enyimba right ? Abi u don follow join Enyimba to sack am ? I know but eventually...
