Re: Players who should be finished with SE

CE remains the biggest comedy club I know. Most of you want to do away with Iheanacho in favor of Dessers even though Iheanacho is the sole reason we are able to hold our heads up against Tunisia.        ❗️ Cheers. He is also one of the reasons we didn't BEA...

Re: Keshi would have made the 2nd round of WC 2018 and a 4th

I love Keshi, but international football has such fine margins, a bounce here or there and he is remembered entirely differently. His 2014 World Cup was pretty similar to Rohr's 2018. An abominable performance in the first match, tight win against a middling European team in the second, and a "...

Re: Nigeria 1 vs Tunisa 1

I will vex seriously with Rohr if Musa is invited for the November matches except he's found a club and is playing regularly. If he can get himself back to shape, he's still needed in the SE because of his experience, which he showed by putting himself between the ball and goalkeeper to win a penal...

Re: Nigeria 1 vs Tunisa 1

Unless Nigeria are going to start pumping crosses into the box like Burnley, Iheanacho is a much, much better option than Onuachu. Combines with midfield and other forwards much better, lays some good balls to teammates and can finish. I would like to see Dessers for Musa. Ayaji has been alright in ...

Re: SE Lineup vs Tunisa.

The lack of midfield players has made these friendlies odd in terms of selection. That team has five recognized defenders and five attackers based on how they play for their clubs. If they can get the ball forward, it is a dangerous side, but ceding midfield isn't usually practical in the modern gam...

Re: Players who should be finished with SE

I don't really understand all of this Iheanacho criticism, seems wildly over the top for 20 minutes in a rubbish friendly after a year+ away from the team. He clearly has taken his club career seriously and improved his fitness if you have watched him in England at all in the last year and isn't fat...

Re: Nigeria 0 vs Algeria 1 Live!

The two central midfielders and two central defenders provided absolutely nothing in possession for the entire match. No buildup play at all. Attacking players occasionally got into a bit of space through luck or their own industry, but there was no pattern of play at all. Things would look differen...

Re: Nigeria 0 vs Algeria 1 Live!

Onuachu actually has a decent touch for a big man, but he is so slow and cumbersome up front. Makes no runs, doesn't press from the front, only really useful if you play high balls into him. Osimhen is a big man too, but has modern skills. \ I think he is fine as Plan B against lower teams in qualif...

Re: Nigeria vs Algeria Lineup, Time and TV broadcast channel

I am still entirely unconvinced by Onuachu. His height provides a different option and his goal record at club is good, but don't think he is really fit for the highest level of international football in Africa, or abroad. I am not sure he really fits well with the other attackers, either, in terms ...

Re: How I would line-up against Algeria on Friday

I hope you are all watching the Spain vs Portugal game. Both coaches have been brave as at least half of their teams are youngsters. They playing alongside veterans like Ronaldo, Pepe, Busquet, etc. I hope Rohr will be that brave tomorrow. As a Leeds United fan I am also watching Spain closely as t...

The situation at Stoke is untenable, so it's a good move for him to play at a good level for a full season and secure himself a long term spot going forward.

Re: Fenerbahce Prepare Loan Bid For Iheanacho

So Leicester, who will have more matches next season with Europa League, a 34 year old first choice striker, and a very short window to pursue replacements in difficult economic times, are going to going to get rid of their main backup striker on loan, with little to no financial reward? I could se...

Re: Nacho/Ndidi v Man U

He has himself to blame. He had a 3v2 chance and had to simply pass the ball to Vardy. Yet, he fluffed his shot. He cost leicester a goal in such a very crucial game. That daft mentality is unacceptable. People are so over-critical.The chance was entirely created by Kelechi and shooting was a fine ...

That is not the role he is given in the team. He plays as the lone defensive midfielder 90 percent of the time. They aren't really similar players at all.

Kelechi was just OK first half, moving intelligently into dangerous positions to cause the opposition, but having a couple poor touches and few tame shots. If Rodgers wanted to remove him for another attacker, it would have been harsh, but made sense.Taking him out so you can bring another DM and si...

Great start for Chukwuee. Beats his marker on the right hand, bursts into the box and lays a great cross for Bacca to finish. 1-0 Yellow Submarine. Decent match so far.

I like Azeez. Tbh, I think his lack of physical size/strength or incisive passing ability meant that he never had the potential to be a true top player, but he is a humble player who works hard, is professional and makes the most of his talents. Dude has made a nice career for himself.

Slightly better version of John Ogu in his prime. Very good addition to the squad. I liked John Ogu, BTW. Don't understand all the hate he got on here. He was a solid & talented pro. Maybe he should have moved on from Israel in his prime. Well my suspicions are probably right then cuz Ogu was n...
