I am Japanese but I am happy that Ghana won. Many of the Japanese were seeing illusions created by the media (and the old Fifa ranking) and they thought that Japan is a world class team. Therefore I want them to lose so that they will know what the reality is, (and it is getting better after the re...

I believe there are other equally great strikers in the world - albeit a few - who would do an equally good job in this particular Barcelona side. And yes Saha is definitely one of them. Those dismissing him lightly are clearly ignorant. Saha was a bigger star at Fulham than Etoo was at Mallorca. N...

Re: Nakata

The news here is that he made a promise to his mother to go back and finish his education by the time he turns 30 on which his mother gave him his blessings and this move is just in fulfillment of that promise. He is said to be very bright and anybody who knows him will also tell you he has a very ...

[quote="mate"]Europe v Africa Mini WC

Wouldn't this be fun:

Where is the referee going to come from ?
After every tom d#$% or jack with the whistle has done everything
possible to pull African rep back.
Except the referee is from space, there will be no justice.

Re: Africa has long way to go

Seeing the Argies and Holland play shows we have some way to go. The level of shooting and crosses is top notch. They dont just shoot for the sake of it and most shots havent been over the bar or miles wide as we saw with African attackers. I have always said skills wise we compete admirably but it...

Angola may come out of this WC with 2 points but the coach is the
worst coach in this WC. What a waste. Angry to stay up late in the night to watch the coach sell out his team.

That their coach has to be sacked at half time and replaced by his assistant he is as useless like the Akwa that he keeps on fielding.

Forgotten 2002, they were so hot before 2002 that so many
pundits picked them to win it and you know the outcome.

Brazil were definitely crap. Ivory Coast, with belief, can do more than beat them. They can thrash them. Roberto Carlos is past his best. Ronaldo is past his best and overweight. Ronaldinho is overrated. Adriano is sluggish and overrated. Robinho lacks experience and can be easily shackled. Kaka is...

Will Angola be able to score in this WC ?

Angola is just doing damage control by playing defensive. With that
waste pipe called Akwa upfront I don't see them scoring a single
goal in this world cup.
Why is the starting mantorass on the bench ?
I doubt they will be able to beat Iran.
