Re: NFF to boost team with fresh call-ups, prepares for Ireland,
They better not start excluding key players, that would be a mistake. I am all for calling new players to create competition, but on the other hand I am against dropping key players as well. We pretty much have the core of our team, perhaps in the end 1 or 2 more players would be introduced. The pr...

Re: Becoming Ridiculous if the story is True.
how stupid is this. So they will give him 2 games to get the team in order. What if he fails ? They will then sack him days before an important qualifier ? The time to sack him is now, it is obvious he has no coaching ability, a good new coach will have 2 months and 2 friendlies to get the house in ...

Re: NFF Considers Westerhoff.....
SSS I think would be better than Westerhoff, he has worked with the olympic boys recently, and is probably more aware of current players than westerhooff. However both of them working together would also be welcome, if they get along, but at this point anything is better than Amodu.

Re: Ex-SE blames lack of quality Players....
I have said it before and I will say it again. The talent of players we have is not the problem. If it was, then why did SSS get better results against better teams with less quality of players. Remember SSS did not have Taiwo, Mikel, Martins, Uche, Uche Kalu, Obodo, Ayila, Yobo etc. yet his teams w...

Super Chickens scoreless in 3 straight games
The writing is on the wall, we cannot score against Jamaica and Mozambique. 3 games straight, and not one goal. Amodu cannot form an effective team. Still people are making excuses for the rubbish called Amodu.

the serious nations are taking action right NOW instead of waiting . The thing is Nigeria is in a much worse situation than Mexico. 3 out of 6 qualify automatically with the 4th team going to playoff. Nigeria is not a serious nation, still haven't learned a damn thing from 2006. Actually, they wait...

Re: 2010 Qualifiers: The Margin for Error is Slim...
Txj, your analysis and permutations is unnecessary at this time. A win at home vs. Kenya puts us back on track regardless of Tunisia's next result. Then the key fixtures will be the home & away vs. Tunisia. 1 draw + a win in that series puts us in the driver's seat with mozambique coming to Abu...

Re: Cameroon Fires Coach.!
Sacking Amodu will be jumping from frying pan into fire. How many managers are we going to use in the space of a year? We might not like his style of play but his record is not that bad to warrant trying another coach. A new coach will need timetoknow the players and get his ideas across. We have v...

...coming into the game in Maputo, Akpala had scored in FOUR CONSECUTIVE weeks for Brugge. He was smoking hot coming into that game. Why Amodu didn't start him over a clearly out-of-form Martins is a mystery to me. Or at least give him 25 solid minutes in the 2nd half in place of a useless Ike Uche...

Re: SE - NOW THE MOMENT OF TRUTH
Ordiah, for better or worse, is still our best RB option. He has strengths and weaknesses like every player. The manager should design his team to max out his attacking strengths (same with TT) and minimize his defensive weaknesses which is no worse than whomever the back up is. KPOM, Odiah is our ...

Re: SE - NOW THE MOMENT OF TRUTH
My biggest worry is that we seem to be using the wrong players due past record and due to the coach not knowing what he wants. For example: We have all seen Mohammed in the RB position. We saw the urgency and workrate in his game, but we will continue to advocate for an Ordiah that has not been him...
