Re: Congrats to CIV, Thanks to the SE

Congrats to CIV. One they were decisive in getting rid of the coach. The assistant coach got them the Trophy! The mental toughness of the team. To regroup after the terrible loss to EG. Having their star players back for the later stages of the tournament helped. And their star players did show up....

You never give up, Prof :rotf: If the NT had followed your "tunnel vision" of home based talents treatises, we won't have Nwabali in SE now. While you your penchant has been that solutions are in Nigeria local scene, the people you accuse actually want the best Nigerian talent from anywhe...

Thanks Gotti. Great to see the pipeline of talent for the SF continuing. I missed the match? Any standout players? Taiwo Afolabi returns as captain this time, and I liked what I saw of the left-footed midfielder Moshood Abidemi … Meanwhile, Chidi Harmony , the prospect that I noted back in 2022 (se...

In this AFCON… 1) All of Africa’s 5 reps at the 2022 Qatar WC (Morocco, Tunisia, Ghana, Cameroon and Senegal) have been bounced… 2) The top 5 FIFA-ranked African teams (Morocco, Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria and Egypt) have been knocked out, and…. 3) All 8 Q-finalists from the last AFCON 2021 (B/Faso, E...

Re: Ongoing transformation of the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere

It's a start but it is not enough. We will need a proper national stadium in Lagos too. Nigeria is actually falling behind African standards in stadia. We have quantity in terms of stadia but not quality and not enough high capacity stadia. That combined with insecurity and it is no surprise that C...

If you’re referring to the posts below, she’s on the team (#9)… I think while she shows potential, she’s still behind the likes of Sebastine. Btw, Faith ...
