Re: Failure of individual events have lost their sting for me
Uncle 1naira remembers all our 3 victories with full clarity, even our very first participation so his opinion must be respected. You are absolutely right, and even more when you consider our erratic preparation. However, on the flip side looking at the stats, despite Egypt winning 7 times Nigeria i...

That's true o. Flashback at my past comments on the old Kick Off Nigeria forum and even my toned down version here on CE makes me feel like a total stranger today

Re: Where is all the anger coming from?.... A moment to recall and to say Thank You to SE
I recall a thread before the tournament asking for predictions. I predicted at best a 2nd round exit going by our recent showings. Thank you to SE for exceeding my expectation and giving us lots of memorable moments that highlight the Nigerian spirit. The AFCON is a celebration of Africa, and Africa...

Re: NO NIGERIAN REFEREES LISTED FOR AFCON
Better context and balance if we can have people monitoring the other African leagues too. You can't clap with one hand.
Those monitoring the EPL, La Liga, Brazilian league, Argentine league etc have noted that some of their refs, like the Nigerians, make one or two horrible calls every matchday.

Re: Stay Away from SE Games If You Have BP or Heart Issues
I didn't watch the match. I support 3SC, Corinthians and Manchester United. Over the years you learn to manage your cardio when you support those crazy teams. My approach is simple. I noticed that the tension typically gets intense around the 80th minute so to maintain my matchday thrills on importa...

Re: Kudos to CAF Presidet, Dr. Patrice Motsepe
Unfortunately, he will have to change the rule to allow every country in Africa qualify before Kenya and Uganda can qualify. :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: Uncle don come with mathematical-like feints and jabs. Kenyanians amd Ugandanese don suffer here. With the expansions, will Ghana ever make it out of AFC...

Re: Mikel Obi: “Sunday Oliseh had no clue as Manager”
With all the available studies & literature on common leadership/management styles and their respective strengths and weaknesses, it’s funny reading our village headmasters on CE lumping leadership approach into a single bucket. Also, I won’t embarrass anyone here on Oliseh by going into CE arc...

Re: Yusuf on his debut
The interesting thing is the amount of risk taken by Stephen Keshi towards our 2013 AFCON victory (a manager that I personally don't like but who pleasantly surprised me with his approach towards that AFCON). We already have a clear precedence but still we argue and act in favour of stupidity all th...

Re: Nwabili and AlHassan
Like I said, we have the players who play in Div 1, the NFF and coaches just do not want to drop their friends. That is the issue!  How sad that this is when these 2 finally got their chance. The performance of the two players speak volumes and underlines a need for a totally different...
