Re: Cameroon Suspends 17-Year-Old AFCON Star, 61 Others For Age Falsification
Terrible reasoning on this one mcal. Anyway, the guy used a fake identity to win his AFCON place. He previously played in the Cameroonian league under a different name and was 21 at the time. While I am not the biggest Etoo fan, he deserves praise for this. In many cases, FAs in Africa have been com...

Re: Our Osimhen is better than Halaand
We don't have to guess. The stats are here for this season. Osihmen has been more clinical (conversion rate) this season while Haaland was much better last season. But Haaland is consistently a better passer and gets more assists. I would rank Osihmen higher in the defensive side of the game even th...

Song's results were really poor. 6 wins from 23 games. Cisse has a 70% winning record or close

Re: We didn't lose the final because of tactics
Both teams started off with their set strategy. CIV with 4-3-3 and Nigeria with a 3-4-3 with Ajayi stepping a bit forward into the DM spot. But when CIV gained the ascendancy with Adingra in particular getting the best of Aina time and time again, the tactical adjustment to counter these issues on t...

Re: Could not score against Ghana in 2 games to take us to the WC, one goal in 7 games at the AFCON
His stats speak for themselves. He is the complete package. What I described to you are just his extra qualities Please stop it bro. Vic has showed that he can score and do it efficiently, so this nonsense of criticizing him because he scored one goal in the AFCON is rather short-sighted. Osihmen ha...

Re: Osihmen to replace Mbappe at PSG
PSG invested heavily in Goncalvo Ramos and Kolo Muani. Paying big money for Osimhen just doesnt seem right. I actually think they'll be going after Rafael Leao at Milan. If Todd Boehly agrees to alter his payscale at Chelsea then Victor will go there. I think a move to Chelsea will set him back. He...

Please stop it bro. Vic has showed that he can score and do it efficiently, so this nonsense of criticizing him because he scored one goal in the AFCON is rather short-sighted. Osihmen has scored all sorts of goals with his head and his feet. He was leading scorer in Serie A last season. In short, t...

Osihmen is a mack. The amount of effort he puts into games is simply remarkable. He is fast, can leap higher than any defender and his defensive work is unmatched. A bonafide world class player

Osihmen to replace Mbappe at PSG
IMO, that move would make sense for Osihmen both financially and being in a team that would give him big time exposure. I can see him going to Chelsea too but given the struggles of the team of late, he wouldn't feature in Europe.

Re: Iwobi is Terrible
No one said pim when Iwobi was having a great tournament. Look, even Messi has subpar games. I came here to have constructive post match discussions and the first thing i see is this RUBBISH. Do we have amateurs watching football here? Is it that ppl cannot understand a players role? Is this a JOKE?...

Too much negativity..
After the loss. This Nigeria squad is world cup level, and when they qualify, I expect the team to do very well. They played really well during the tournament. There are a lot of things that can be built on. The defense and attack are superb and the midfield is almost complete. I believe with a few ...

Re: Nigeria vs CIV (1-2) Ekong , Kessie, Haller FT
Adingra made the difference today because he did something that no one was able to do all the tournament, which is really test Ola Aina. I guess there is a reason why he is doing so well at Brighton

I don't know what's behind the Simon switch. The guy is huge defensively and can create in attack too. But guess Pesseiro and his staff know best

Vini Jnr vs Girona
He did it all on the pitch today. Long range shooting, an incredible banana pass to Bellingham, dribbles, flicks over opponent's heads, and more. It was a true treat to watch. I doff my hat to Vini for today's amazing display. Nuff respect

Re: Has anyone here been watching the Asian Cup?
Very true. It's not even close. I've watched sone games and the pace is much slower for one. It is an inferior tournament to the AFCON [1] What a lot of you may not know is that the Asian Cup is taking place concurrently with the African Cup of Nations [2] Hosts Qatar will face Jordan in the final t...
