We must be lucky to have our players anyway.
But then why couldn't the S.Africans allow him if JJ is coming on 16th?Aterall JJ is more influential. I'd rather have JJ on the 17th than not havw him at all.

EW, You too have lost it. Since when did football start to have 'own assist' as in own goal just cos the gk spilled the ball. Assisit must go to somebody but not a gk who spills the ball. If JJ didn't play the shot, would there have been an assist Would you also say JJ always intends to hit post bas...

I don't know why anyone will refer to Ameobi as mediocre. You can probably count less than 3 strikers in the SE team who are at least at par with Ameobi BTW, remember that even John Fashanu decided that he wanted to play for the SE after representing England 2ice. Remember Sean Dundee of Germany or ...

Waffi,

You seem to have lost your sense of objectivity.

But that luck ran out a minute later as the corner fell for Okocha. His shot was blocked by Keller but Nolan pounced to stroke home the loose ball and give Bolton a deserved lead.

Merry Christmas, Ruud Van Nistelroy; the man Gunners shot but couldn't bruise, the man Gooners thumped but couldn't splinter.
See you at Highbury to bury all Gunners, a brace and an encore.

WHO SHOULD VOTE FOR PLAYERS OF THE YEAR

With all the avoidable heat generated by FIFA's award to Zizzou cos some inept managers were involved in the voting. While Nedved won the EPOY with some acclaim, I really don't see any reason why the winner of WPOY and EPOY should be different cos they play basically the same tournaments i.e Zizzou ...

But I honestly think it's harsh to say KO peddles rumours even if this one story is wrong. Can Tolu count how many they've peddled?

Like some guy said he won't leave his club and ends up becoming the most expensive player in the world. Or why do you think Real, Chelsea etc think they can get the likes of RVN and Henry despite what the players have sworn to?

I guess if Kanoute plays for Mali and Ameobi doesn't go to Euro, the prospect can look tantalising for him ( Ameobi). He may be young but time is running out.
I for one feel Ameobi can solve the problem of 2nd or supporting striker.
