My guy...there was absolutely nothing ANY KEEPER, let alone Alloy Agwu could have done about that Abedi Pele header. For me that is the best headed goal i have ever seen

The worst goalkeeping display I have ever seen from a Nigerian GK was Enyeama's "performance" in the 2003 African Champions League away to Ismaily. His team Enyimba lost that game 1-6, and he was subbed off. A GK has to be REALLY bad to be subbed off.

That header was good but the goalkeeper was badly positioned. Then the crawling made it more hilarious (IF you were a nuetral watching the game)

I've seen lots of Patrick Mboma shots in my life time. That was not a strong one. IT was relatively weak. Go see it again

I dont recall any crawling?

From what i remember he made a full stretch dive but was beaten by the speed and angle of the header. The ball flew straight into the net. I dont see how (or why) he would need to crawl.

so in the year 2012 you want people to read an article about goalkeeping howlers without a video? Dude this is what they call lazy journo work style, leave it to ones imagination to view a goalkeeping howler.

ps, i didn't click on the article

Bros, when you buy the newspapers on Sunday and you read about Saturday's matches, i don't think the technology exists to see the goals on the pages of that newspaper. Even in 2012. You are at the mercy of how best the writer describes the moments
A lazy journalist is a radio man that keeps talking about what that coach or player said but never gives you a sound clip; a lazy journalist is that TV man who introduces a documentary of Nigeria's goalkeeping howlers but gives you still pictures.
In a write up you are at the mercy of how best the moves are described so your idea of Lazy journalism does not hold water here

I disagree, Many folks would interpret the howlers in different ways. but if you uploaded those howlers(videos) in your write ups, it would do the article a huge favor.
