I rem watching this game,Taribo West was a very good player at Inter but he was too cocky!!He knew he was the $@#%.He was 1 confident defender though,on the ball and defensively.
This was a good game,Baggio changed it for the.Zanmorano was not happy losing his #9 jersey to Ronaldo at the time,so his jersey number if i remember was 1+8.
They valued numbers back them,strikers especially.

Bros Edmundo took West to the cleaners,apart from that,he was a vey tough guy in defense.As a defender you will always have that 1 defender that would cause u problems.As good as Vidic was,Torres owned him too many times it was scary.
BTW Taribo west among the Inter team that won the Uefa Cup in 98 a full member,although he got a red card for an elbow on Machini i think.

What did west in was attitude,he threw his jersey at the coach when substituted in a game,that was it for west.He played a few games for Ac-Milan after his switch,then he moved to Bayer Leverkursen,after that it was curtains closed.
