Apparently, Madrid has bid for the new Spanish phenom - Sociedad's defensive midfielder, Xavi Alonso. The boy is really good on both sides of the ball. He also scored a stunning 30 yard blast against Valencia over the weekend.

However, I think he'd still be better replacing Guti, or Cambiasso as opposed to Becks. But then again, Madrid also need a quality central defender..

He should be kept by all means. I dont know what manner of men we have running for 'el presidente' at the Benarbeu. They have selfish, foolish interests to say the least.
