He's good but there are very few players in the world who are technically or anything better than Essien.
Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Ronaldo, Özil, di Maria, Aguero, Forlan, Fabregas, van Persie, Sneijder, Robben, Ribery, Ibrahimovic, Robinho, Ronaldinho, Seedorf, Berbatov, Nani, Pirlo
I could go on and on and without even watching the South American leagues I can tell that there many technically better players

We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand
Roy Keane: ITV 02/25/14
He says that we are currently "brainwashed" into believing that the Premier League is the best competition in the world, and that we are now a long way off dominating the Champions League again.
Gary Neville: Mirror: 12/23/14
I think Spain’s by far the best league.

OM is very good club for him, they play CL footy and they can afford to have patience with young players.Samora Moises Machel wrote:the same way that Brian Cloughs Nottingham Forrest have historywale1974 wrote:OM has historySamora Moises Machel wrote:Tunde84 wrote:Samora Moises Machel wrote:Had really wanted Andre Ayew to move to a big club too but didnt happen for the young man![]()

I agree with you....As a Spurs fan, I don't think we should've gotten rid of him so soon. With all our DM all but injured, we could've done with him in our team right now, as I think he's better than Palacious.wale1974 wrote:Thanks to Portsmouth, Spurs almost ruined his career. As for Giovanni.....well, my heart bleeds for the guy, as I've been tracking him from when he orchestrated Mexico's triumph @ the FIFA under 16 Youth WC in 2005. Very underated @ Spurs....But thinking of it, who would he replace in the current Spurs team, since Aaron Lennon, Luca Modric & Gareth Bale are all having great seasons so far. Not to mention the fact that we still have Vander Vaart to return....What do you think eh?
