In the other match, Man City 2-0 up against Aston Villa courtesy of Yaya Toure and Mario "Balotelli" Baruwah.

One can only laugh. Never before has failure been so warmly recieved. Wheres our Carling Cup? In all fairness, its a bullsh*t competition ridiculed by all, so who cares. The quadruple that we were strong enough to win by Wenger's own words, has now become a triple. 3 is less than 4. So if 4 was within our reach, 3 is most definitely within our remit. Orient out the way, Man United at Old Trafford, matters not, they will go the same was as Barca at the Nou Camp. 3 is less than 4 and Arsene has said it so. It shall and will come to pass. Cant wait for next week, the promise of something special will appease the hard feelings of failure at Wembley.

@Robbynice, Arsene said we are capable of winning the quadruple. One final down, one trophy lost. So four becomes three. A lesser number, so less arduous a task. If we were capable of a four trophy haul, then three is well within our reach, by Wenger's own admission. So, with that said, roll on Camp Nou. If there was any trophy that could be sacrificed to assure a memorable treble, t'was the Carling Cup. Next week, all will be forgotten once Barca are battered on their own soil. Orient are offering good target practice, a stuttering, spent United at Old Trafford next round of the FA, its all falling into place. The treblea it shall be.

Poor L'Orient. Don't worry, Man City will come to your aid for this whitewash.
