The Book of AFCON 13: 1-14
1. And the day came
Even the day of the Lord, this Sunday
2. That d adversary of Nigeria, these Ivorians
Came threatening
3. And Stephen, the son of Keshi
The commander of Nigeria Army
Entreated the praying Nigerians to pray
4. And in churches and mosques
On mountains and in camps
Prayers were offered
5. And behold on the battle ground
The army, these super eagles fought
Forcing the Ivorians to retreat
Even by the sharp boot of Emenike
The Nigerian tomentator

6. But their champion, this Goliath called Drogba
A Nigerian exile known before as Adediji Adurogba
Came flanked by his generals
7. Even world famous generals-Toure, Eboue, Kalou, Gervinho,..
Taking the battle to the Nigerians
Drogba, Inspiring his protégé
Even the unknown Tiote
To level score with Nigeria
8. But the Spirit of the Lord stirred one son of Mba
Even d one called Sunday,
The least in the Nigerian camp
9. And thus he said to the commander
Who is this uncircumcized Ivorian
That he should defy the armies of the giant of Africa?
10. And he was told to sit down
That even Mikel, Victor, Yobo, …..
These warriors that have done battle
Even in far countries
Cannot dare this Goliath, Drogba,
11. And he said to the commander
For this purpose was I named Sunday,
To do battle on the day of the Lord,
12. And the commander, Keshi urged him go
13. And Sunday arose and caused harvoc
In the camp of the Ivorians
14. And the armies of Ivory Coast,
These adversaries of Nigeria
Were utterly destroyed.
Even the day of the Lord, this Sunday

funny indeed.
The Revelations of Prophet Imma Okochua
1. In the 3rd year of the reign of King Goodluck the son of Jonathan, the peoples’ king of Nigeria, were the nations of Africa gathered in South Africa for to choose the King of Soccer for the years 2013-2015. 2. The descendants of Anakims and Nephilims, surnamed, Ivorian Elephants were also there with their Drogba, the chief god and other principalities and powers of African soccer.
3. Then came the Super Eagles of Nigeria, despised by their own brethren who saith: Shall these Eagles fly? Surely, these Eagles are too old to fly!” 4. They stood as lambs in the midst of wolves.
5. Then gathered a host of sports analysts and arm-chair commentators and treacherous journalists (they being descendants of Kora, Nadab and Abihu) together for to spread fear in the camp of the Eagles. 6. Moreover, they were not satisfied with spreading fear among the Eagles’ camp but behold they carrieth their evil spirit and enchantment to the entire nation, I say the entire nation of Nigeria. 7. Thus did it happen that from the babe that suckleth her mother’s breast to the hoary headed men that sitteth before the fire, all of the country of Nigeria, there went forth contempt for the Super Eagles. 8. This contempt was so great that the prophets of Eagles were persecuted and the remaining Eagles’ supporters and prophets went therefore into the caves and hid and there encouraged one another.
9. It came to pass that on their first battle in South Africa, the Eagles drew their adversaries. 10. The haters of Eagles laughed them to scorn saying, “Seeth thou how they be unable to win a lowly team? Tellest we thee not that these Eagles cannot fly at all?” 11. These people were unmindful of the fact that this year’s AFCON saw the elimination of soccer giants such as Cameroon and Egypt from the qualification stage. 12. Nevertheless were our Eagles mocked sore. 13. Moreover, these mockers were willingly ignorant of the fact that all the great teams in the 2013 AFCON played draw in their first game, save the Elephants of Ivory Coast that narrowly escaped playing draw.
14. Then arose Prophet/Pope Imma Okochua and lifted up his voice and cried unto the Facebook Tribe of Nigeria: 15. “Wherefore say ye that our Eagles cannot fly? Behold, these Eagles that ye despise today shall be thy saviour! They shall bring thee joy though ye give them pain!” 16. And it appeareth unto men as one that spake riddles and one that was drunk.
17. It came to pass that when the Eagles qualified for the quarter finals that these same evil commentators and football false prophets, mocked again and said: “Lo, it was only a mistake! The Eagles wobbled into the quarter finals. Now shall the Elephants trample them underfoot and Keshi shall bring their remains home!”
18. And Prophet Imma Okochua rose up again and stood on Mount Facebook and shouted: “Meaneth it nothing to thee, O ye children of Nigeria, that these same Eagles qualified for AFCON when Cameroon and others could not? 19. Is it but a small thing to thee that their performance was at par with other great soccer nations? Now ye shall behold with thine eyes the fall of the Elephants and the rise of the Eagles.”
20. And on the day of the battle with Ivory Coast, many Nigerians went about their businesses. Few it was that tuned in to their television to watch or their radio to listen.
21. It came to pass that as the first half was about to end that the Eagles roused themselves to action, lifted their wings and perched on the Elephants’ head, pecked off one of the Elephants’ eye and gat for Nigeria her opening goal. 22. However, there was no great cheer because only few were watching it. And the evil reporters and commentators dismissed this as a mistake.
23. Wherefore when the Eagles saw that the battle was about to end with 1-1 and the match would go into extra time and seeing that the Ivorians are reckoned as men of great penalty shooting, that Sunday, surnamed Mba, broke free with a pass. 24. He dribbled one, two, three and four stomping and bumping Elephants and before the gargantuan Elephants regrouped to stop him from entering their holy ground of 18 yards, the same Sunday, lifted up his eyes and behold the net was afar off. 25. And he saith to himself, “If I shoot now, I shall beat these roaring Elephants before they re-gather.
26. And Sunday Bar-Mba shot the ball. 27. And the ball sailed away, higher, higher and higher. 28. Then when it appeared the ball was sailing over the bar, the ball sharply descended into the corner of the net!
28. And so did the Elephants fall with a mighty crash and the whole earth heard their fall.
Then the people took Prophet Imma Okochua to make him their priest of soccer but he passing through the midst them disappeared and went to a mountain to pray.

funny indeed.
