Bashiru ahead of Iwobi? Your head no dey house.
And the title says without Osimhen.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life"
"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

We need at least one new goalkeeper. None of our current 3 offer much.
Also I would love to see Tella in the mix. And I would take Awoniyi over Moffi.

If we’re talking “probable”, not “preferred by the poster”, then we all know it will look something like this:
Uzoho
Aina/Bright Ajayi Bassey Bruno/Zaidu
Moses Iwobi Ndidi Lookman
Moffi Boniface
But of course we know in possession it’s not really a 4-4-2 but a 4-1-4-1 so a lot of responsibility on Boniface.
Would I change anything? I’d love to see Onyeka in the team for his workrate. Would I drop Moses for him? Maybe? We know the coach wants those “wide forwards” coming inside in transition which is what I think is confusing Samu (Lookman and to a lesser extent Moses have adjusted better to it) but Iwobi has done that job in every team he’s ever been in.
Otherwise, them be the cards we’ve been dealt and we’re gonna have to live with them.

Uzoho isn't the best option. He's like nuke in the hands of Donald Trump.ohenhen1 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 2:34 am We need Osimhen and we will depend on him when he comes back from injury,

Uzoho is the best option right now. Need to scout players. Okoye too is not playing for his club.
Adeleye is not better.
Awoniyi is also injured
Iheanacho will drift inside and let Osayi overlap. I like him in that role. The' same role he played at the U17 level. He can csreate from the wings. He can cut inside and strike the ball with his left foot. Don't like him in midfield. Too many defensive duties if he is played in midfield. And he has struggled playing for Nigeria in the past playing in midfield.
Onyemachi is a solid player.
Torunarigha looks like a solid player. Perfect partner for Bassey. I am not impressed with Ajayi.
The defense is still a major concern. The coach didn't do a good job scouting players. It is too late now. We have made our bed. We have to sleep on it.
Daniel Akpeyi can be a stand-in. Any decent goalie in NPFL, who's been keeping in recent times is better.
Peter Rufai in 1998 was on holiday. I don't think he had an active season either. Our knee jerk reactions disqualified Baruwa and Opara. It was a disaster.
An out-of-action or off form goalie is the worst thing that can happen to any team. I remember Brazil in 1982 WC...the best team never to win the WC.
TOUCH NOT MY ANOINTED...
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding...hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? 21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe

Re: World cup qualifiers probable starting 11- without Osimhen
It is logical to think that division 1 players are better than division 2 players but that’s not always the case because of club football dynamics. A few short years ago, Leicester was battling for a champions league sport in the EPL… and all of a sudden, they are relegated. Does that mean that Leicester players are no longer good enough for the EPL? Now consider Everton. There’s a really good chance they are going to get relegated. If and when they do, would you recommend that Jordan Pickford be dropped as England’s #1 goalie? If you do, you’d probably be the only oneonovo wrote: ↑Sat Oct 21, 2023 1:04 pmNever ! Samuel ——————Omeruo———Bassey————Onyemachi
Onyeaka——————Ndidi—————
Iwobi
Nacho———————-Boniface———————Simon
I’d go with Awazien instead of Omeruo but I think Pesseiro will play it safe.
Osayi Awaziem Bassey Bruno
Onyedika
Ndidi Onyeka
Iheanacho Moffi Boniface

Strange decision.
I can’t see one thing Awoniyi has as an advantage over Moffi.

Even more strange on your part...
What advantage does Moffi have over Awoniyi?
Awoniyi is in a much more competitive league, is much stronger on the ball, has a much higher work rate and has a higher output. Not sure what other metrics you're looking at...
