Why? The defenders dropped off. The options became decoys. It could have worked.

Right choice? Probably not, but not a terrible idea.
no no no that was the wrong move. Selfishness is contagious. and will always come back to bite you.

Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

Vic has had a poor game.

Got himself to good positions, but

Missed 2 or 3 clear chances, and didn't pass well or play particularly well.

Good news is the civ are not pressing with a plan. They are playing desperately..and they are now panicking.

Even if they carve two more chances.. it is likely they will fluff them.

Why the heck are they targeting Aina? He has been solid all day. Great tackle by Bassey.
