This is not the Chelsea of Abrahamovic. Their model now is low base with heavily incentivized salary. Not an ideal destination for a star like Osimhen who is already earning a lot.

Fake report.

Another report says he was offered €155k plus bonuses. I believe he was offered close to his current €220k per week.

It is unlikely that he was offered close to what he is earning. If that had been the case, he would be playing for Chelsea. It is possible that he could get close to that base on incentives. What seems apparent is that he was not offered enough for him to think it was a good move

Because I know Chelsea can’t offer him £68k.

So why didn't he accept the loan deal? He would still have earned the same salary, the only difference, it would be split 50- 50 between Chelsea and Napoli. His agent said he was too big to go on loan, meanwhile Lukaku has been on loan for 3 years! So whats the arrogance all about?

A transfer is always preferred to a loan, so the agent can say that. If a loan with acceptable terms was offered, I think he would have considered it. He really wanted to play in the Premier League. Sometimes loan deals can involve taking a pay cut which may not be acceptable to the player

… and to be quite honest, a £68K offer to Osimhen is an outright insult. What it says is We can do without you but we think you can be useful🤔❗️

I don’t believe he was offered 68k/wk. if so, then his agent is an angel* negotiating until the deadline with a club that is not serious. That is an insult. How much is the likes of Caicedo, Lavia, Fofana, & Cucurella making?

We know Mudryk, Enzo, Felix and Nkunku are probably on high wages. You will be seeing fake news from both sides to get sympathy from the fans. They will say Osimhen’s people asked for 700k and Osimhen’s people will say he got offered 60k. The truth is in the middle.

68K a week is an insulting offer for the APOY when average English players on the Chelsea team are making >100k. I am still not happy with Osimhen for not adding a dignified closure to the Finidi saga, but he has my 100% support on this one. He needs to stay sober and in good shape and his opportunity will come soon.
He might need to change his agent though.

I wonder how anyone can believe Chelsea offered Osimhen £68k. Same way I don’t believe the report that Osimhen wanted £500k. As you said, the truth is somewhere in the middle. That’s why I believe the report that they offered him €155k plus bonuses. He most likely wanted them to offer a bit more that he is currently earning which would be around the £250k mark.

Let’s pray someone else comes for him in January. Maybe PSG because I don’t believe Chelsea really wants him.

Isn't 68k what an academy graduate earns or close to it?

use your head for once. that was a base offer , which equates to 3.5m a yr. now convert to euros. the joke is on you. chelsea offered 4m a year base , 2 m for champs league qualification and another 2 m for goals. his current pay is 11M , chelsea were off by 3M

gala are actually paying 6M salary

All of this na speculation. The only thing we know is Osimhen rejected their offer. Chelsea tried to take advantage of the situation to get him to take lower wages. Chelsea is in a bind after the FA ruling that they can't use proceeds from Strasburg in the FFP calculations. Also they are going to close the loophole they are using to give guys 7 or 9 year contracts. Boehly was offering Sterling 320K per week, Enzo 320K per week. He is now limited in what he can do that. That is why there was no money for Osimhen. Meanwhile clubs like Arsenal if they want Osimhen can meet his wage demands. The problem is Arsenal botched on the huge release clause and the manager preferred Sesko. Osimhen actually reached an agreement with PSG. Napoli blocked it because PSG refused to meet the 120 million euros release clause and there was bad blood after PSG wanted Khav included in the deal.
Winners do it the right way.

If Arsenal want him. They can easily pay his wages and the 75 MP release clause. But I don't think the club wants Osimhen. They are reverting back to their self sustaining model which is another word for cheap. Arsenal didn't spend anything this cycle and are already projected to make 21 MP in transfers in 2025. Champions league money and 2nd place EPL money Is flowing in.

Leave Arsenal alone. Are they the only club that could afford him that didn’t make an offer?

Osimhen needs to drop his agent and hire a super agent and get his money and preferred destination. Haaland’s dad was his agent at one point but he ended up signing with the late Mini Raola. When He died, a lot of his clients were passed to some chick that was his understudy. He should sign with that lady, Kia or Mendes. Heck, Emenalo can negotiate better than that his useless agent.
