That Arokodare goal, na poacher........

Post by Enugu II »

Kai, that Arokodare goal is premium poacher goal. No one on the SE, but Osimhen would pull that off. Effort was written all over it. Half chance, smoke it out and boom.
The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics

I disagree, watch the replay a few times, it was just a terrible back pass from the keeper straight into Tolus Path. Good Finishing by Tolu though.

Now a classic poachers goal is Osimhens 2nd Goal against Rwanda in Kigali.

True it was a terrible pass by the goalkeeper but who would you rather have there to anticipate opportunities like that Boniface or Tolu?

Honestly, I just watched it again and I am impressed. He was calm when the keeper rushed out and he just poked the ball in the corner.

He made it easy with a very good first touch and then the second into the corner, all in his stride.
