Oh goodness. I was sitting directly behind Rufai’s goal in the second half at the Foxboro Stadium in 1994. That man had iced water running through his veins. Argentinian fans threw things at him and did whatever they could to distract him but he didn’t acknowledge them even once.

Thread caption is outrageously disrespectful for a Nigerian legend: whether you call yourself making a joke or whatever you might call - satire its a wrong time for that. A 61yr old athlete hasn’t attained full time/life. This attest to how irresponsible the so called mods have gotten fattened & lost

For the Flaming Flamingoes, you made the most mundane save look spectacular, causing the locals to further spiral into another frenzy.

Great times, first and only team I know where the keeper was more popular than anyone else in the team even plus including the great Audu Ibrahim.
