Liverpool, European Champions 2005.
We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

Congratulations to Osimhen. It will be difficult to top what he already did last season. He has conquered Turkey already, so I would have loved to see him in a much better league. But you cannot go where you are not wanted, so I get it.

Interesting that the 2-sided ameoba, and his side kick, Fake-Face have suddenly stayed off this thread...

What is the difference between Saudi and Turkey? This is not a loan like the last season. It’s a 3 years contract.
I wish he went back Napoli and waited till January. But he knows better sha. I wish him all the best

But what went wrong with Osimhen that nobody wants to touch him? This was the same guy Chelsea desperately wanted to sign last summer and now they are all avoiding him. Did something happen with that Chelsea attempt? It’s not adding up.

Pokeyhontas and Depraved Ape said Victor had his pick of the best European teams....
They sent him screenshots of their shrining.

And yet there he is - on the cusp of an extended stay in a 2nd/3rd tier league.

Not much. Not saying he’ll be earning peanuts in Turkey, but he's making a sentimental decision over a football decision. He can score 60 goals in Turkey and would still not be mentioned for the Ballon d'Or.

I tried to have a rational discussion around this issue, but it was derailed by 2-Sided Ameoba, who has now run away from this thread...

You mean like Gyokeres taking a cut to facilitate his Arsenal transfer?
Enough of this racism BS. It actually damages things in the long run when you cry wolf at every turn...

Re: Osimhen, a top talent trapped in bad contract
Even last season Chelsea were not convinced about him that's why they were bidding low. When he was putting on ring light to insult his coach, sebi his fans were clapping for him.

I tire oh! Was he not the highest earning player in Italy a year ago? He really needs to work on his disciplinary record, I believe this contributed to it.

Re: Osimhen, a top talent trapped in bad contract
Discipline. Regardless of how “right” he may have been to advocate for himself and Conte’s combustible nature, seldom does the player truly win such battles. Osimhen’s stock will have been tarnished. Chelsea have opted for Delap, Arsenal presumably Viktor Gyoksimhen. United are still pursuing Mbuemo.
Liverpool’s interest in a striker has taken a new layer of sentiment and significance. Too soon and it may appear insensitive, despite a replacement for the unfavoured Nunez needed. One would expect Nunez to be sold before any addition to appear less like a moving on after the tragic incident of last week.
Agents quite literally flood the market with flyers and for sale offers regarding their clients. That Galatasaray are in the driving seat says a lot. Nevertheless, it’s a good move for Osimhen. Familiar territory, adoring fan base, decent derbies and Champions League. He can hunt down Amit Dauvaturk and Hakan Scorgol’s club records and immortalise the Eagle.

Re: Osimhen, a top talent trapped in bad contract
Nunez, Murdryk, Grealish and Anthony all sold for £100m and didn’t perform to expectations, Gyokerez is about to join that list. Meanwhile, top teams are ignoring Vic whose release clause is a pittance compared to what they would pay for similar Euro talent. If Vic must take a pay cut then he should do so with a team on the cusp of CL qualification and help them knock of the big teams. Ko ni da fun won.

Not sure where this story about taking a pay cut came from
