If Vic must take a pay cut then he should do so with a team on the cusp of CL qualification and help them knock of the big teams. Ko ni da fun won.
Not sure where this story about taking a pay cut came from
Why would anybody need to make an excuse?
I mean, I don't see the player crying. Afterall he has a really good contract currently...
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.
We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp

It’s not all about money. Vic needs to be at a team that can compete for the CL, Premiership or Laliga , he’s a generational talent. Staying in Turkey means he’s not going to compete at the highest level except for a couple CL games and he’s not going to be a Ballon D’or candidate , he’s s also at risk of missing the WC.txj wrote: ↑Tue Jul 08, 2025 9:00 pmEMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote: ↑Tue Jul 08, 2025 8:46 pmIs that the excuse they’re all using?txj wrote: ↑Tue Jul 08, 2025 8:41 pmEMIR KONGI JAFFI JOFFA wrote: ↑Tue Jul 08, 2025 7:56 pm Nunez, Murdryk, Grealish and Anthony all sold for £100m and didn’t perform to expectations, Gyokerez is about to join that list. Re: Osimhen, a top talent trapped in bad contract
Yeah, it makes no sense. Turkey would allow you more partying, but that’s about it. I’d definitely take some Saudi oil money over Turkey
If purge dey worry you, you no dey select toilet
Re: Osimhen, a top talent trapped in bad contract
Going back to Turkey is just dumb.
If you're not going to play in the EPL or La Liga you might as well play in Saudi.

Osimhen’s stock will have been tarnished. Chelsea have opted for Delap, Arsenal presumably Viktor Gyoksimhen. United are still pursuing Mbuemo.
Liverpool’s interest in a striker has taken a new layer of sentiment and significance. Too soon and it may appear insensitive, despite a replacement for the unfavoured Nunez needed. One would expect Nunez to be sold before any addition to appear less like a moving on after the tragic incident of last week.
Agents quite literally flood the market with flyers and for sale offers regarding their clients. That Galatasaray are in the driving seat says a lot. Nevertheless, it’s a good move for Osimhen. Familiar territory, adoring fan base, decent derbies and Champions League. He can hunt down Amit Dauvaturk and Hakan Scorgol’s club records and immortalise the Eagle.
I agree, he should wait it out til Liverpool sell Nunez.
His agent should be working the back channels with Liverpool

"at midnight today, the release clause expires, and Osimhen’s value will no longer be fixed, at no more than €75 million.”
If he waits he could get a better club and a better deal!
