kajifu wrote:Martin Skrtel's suspension presents another headache for Rodgers, as the Slovak center back has been extremely effective in recent months as the deepest man in Liverpool's back line.

There are many possibilities for Rodgers even within the three-man defense. If he continues to use three in the back, he must choose between Kolo Toure and Dejan Lovren to replace Skrtel in the starting eleven, and then he has to decide which player to play in the deep role that Skrtel has occupied.

There's also a slight chance that Rodgers rolls with a back four (which could happen if he uses the diamond). In such a situation, the manager would have to consider whether Emre Can is able to play as part of center back partnership with Mamadou Sakho, or if he would be better suited to move up to the midfield, opening up a whole new can of juicy tactical worms.
What type of sauce are we suppose to have these; ogbona, okro, egusi, or ewedu?

If that guy is fully fit he will sign a new contract and i can tell you he is miles better than Schnerderlin (sp).

No one is doubting him, matter of fact i am a big fan of him.But what guarantee he will play even 7 games a season?
My fear is if we allow him go for free,he might some how heal and be healthy and we are the loser here.
To me he should have a contract of pay as you play with us.

Sign him on pay as you go contract for the next 1 year.

We don't know what the future holds but this dude will get a big cheer from me if he plays for Arsenal this season.......a good man who is battling against all the odds to do what he loves.

Imagine a midfield with Diaby, Cazorla and Ramsey then Ozil, Sanchez and Giroud ahead of them? Shame injury has robbed us of seeing a Arsenal team like that so far.

The space is there to keep him if he is fit, 2-3 elder statesmen may depart that midfield area this summer (Flamini, Rosicky and Arteta)....if he can stay fit a pay as you play contract makes sense, a fit Diaby is a top player.

Yes, why not.....We have looked after him for the last 3 years, if he gets well and is able to go on a pay as you play deal why not with us?

Last time I saw Diaby play in that Arsenal team in pre season he still looked our most complete midfielder, Cazorla & Ozil are the only real competition for him in terms of pure football quality. Wenger is not stupid for giving him every chance to come back...
