Leon Balogun is more German than Nigerian. Hence my statement that there is nothing Nigerian about him apart from his name.

They are more into Japanese players these days. According to them they do adapt well & are extremely disciplined. Not sure about their abilities on their pitch, but u know how Germans are and their preferences.

Since Kagawa came out big, everyone over there wants a Japanese.

Chinedu Ede's move from Union Berlin to Mainz could not fall through. However, there are still chances for this transfer to take place.

He is listed on his club website as DEU/NGA (dual nationality)
