At City forums, they are almost up in arms want him to be second striker over Bony, regardless of huge transfer fees used to buy Bony.

Not yet, he needs time. I have no doubt, the talent is there, but truth is that he hasn't discovered himself fully. In truth non of our young guns are close to the finished article, but Iwobi is way behind Kele and Success at this point. I would still continue with status quo at this point.

Why are you trying to turn Kele into what he's not. He is a support striker but can also play up top if required but never a traditional number 10. Please give up on this fallacy.

That is one reason , i believe Ayo is very clueless in soccer, he sits down and figures things from the sky.

Tomorrow he plays in the midfield and he is ineffective, those saying he is a midfielder will all disappear . He can play as a 10 , support striker not a midfielder.

All this is academic as neither of us is Oliseh. Were I the coach, Iheanacho would be my playmaker. I would persevere with him until he masters the role!

For me, there is no argument here. One lives and dies by his decisions!

Manchester City suspend Iheanacho new deal over agents row
by Staff Reporter, Sunday Jan 10, 2016. 10:36

English Premier League giants Manchester City have put on hold talks for a new improved contract for Nigeria starlet Kelechi Iheanacho following a legal tussle involving agents representing the player.

It has now been specially gathered that US-based First Eleven Management, who secured Iheanacho his first City deal, have asked the Football Association arbitration to cancel a new management contract, which Iheanacho has signed with UK-based Stellar Group.

This tussle could well boil over to a civil court battle between the two high-profile agents.

“Talks over a new contract for Kelechi have been suspended until the FA arbitration decides on who his agents are. First Eleven who first managed him have asked for the FA to cancel a new management contract the player has entered with Stellar Group,” a top source informed.

“It is only after the decision by arbitration that the situation will be a lot clearer. But even then, this could go all the way to the courtroom the way things are going.”

But on the pitch, youngster Iheanacho has continued to improve his stocks after he scored in Manchester City's 3-0 spanking of Norwich City Saturday night in an FA Cup tie.

The 19-year-old striker started his second official game and scored in the 31st minute to give City a 2-0 lead.

He has now scored five goals in all competitions mostly as a substitute for Manuel Pellegrini’s side this season.

We have been brainwashed by the Premier League that it's the best in the world. Nonsense. It's the best brand

Were I Super Eagles coach, this would be my forward line, no matter what anybody else says. Even Buhari would not be able to get me to change my mind. No power on earth would alter that line-ip. A national team manager needs to be a stubborn and strong-willed person.

I would persevere with this until it comes good. Patrick, meanwhile:

Is Leon Balogun injured? He has not featured for mainz for a few weeks
Also, what do you make of this Uche Agbo at Granada? Have you seen him play rightback before?

When you tell people that they should have their initial contract reviewed by the FA they will say the FA will become part of the problem. Lucky for Iheanacho, he is good enough to be worthy of the headache. Most players are destroyed in the process... lawyers are dragging the case, the "asset" is depreciating (getting older).

Ps., even if they don't want the FA to get involved, can the Player Association in Naijaria (APFON and NANF) at least come to the aid/rescue of these kids on a pro-bono basis? Sadly, they too will want a piece of the action and probably become another hindrance. Sad!
