Re: Pesseiro triggers contract renewal
Will his salary for the new contract extension be based on his current salary or the one he was earning before the pay cut? Peseiro might be done with us after AFCON.Babadee wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 9:32 pmthe man has met his contract criteria reach semi final or get fired.ohenhen1 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2024 7:58 pm Still think Nigeria needs a new coach. Nigeria is actually underachieving. Wasted a lot of chances today. Should have beaten Angola today by 4 goals. The team need to continue to improve. But the team is playing well defensively. Got to become a complete team. Continue to get better not standing still.
All the team need is some new blood in midfield and possibly add Tosin Adarabioyo.

Re: Pesseiro triggers contract renewal
I remember posting here that Perseiro accepted the paycut shenanigans because AFCON is around the corner and he knows fully well that he will do well given the caliber of players he has. That was the smartest move for him because why leave before a showcase tournament he qualified the team for? He will leave after AFCON for a better paying job. NFF were very very childish with the paycut rubbish - typical clueless Nigerian administrators - operating in the stone age.

I was against them asking him to take a pay cut from day one knowing that AFCON was around the corner. They wanted to save a few dollars and now it will either cost them more money or they will lose out on a coach in the middle of a World Cup qualification. Watch how some nations that didn’t make it this far in the tournament will pry him away from us. It might even be Angola since they speak Portuguese.Goalgetter wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2024 1:24 pm I remember posting here that Perseiro accepted the paycut shenanigans because AFCON is around the corner and he knows fully well that he will do well given the caliber of players he has.
