The difficulties of statistical thinking describes a puzzling limitation of our mind: our excessive confidence in what we believe we know, and our apparent inability to acknowledge the full extent of our ignorance and the uncertainty of the world we live in. We are prone to overestimate how much we understand about the world and to underestimate the role of chance in events -- Daniel Kahneman (2011), Winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics

Sunset,
As the league gets to the closing end, when is the CHAN team expected to get to camp in preparation for the continental tournament? Also, what is it like for Enyimba given its position in the middle of the pack. It does not appear that Kanu Nwankwo's appointment has helped the club. Instead, the club's run is heading south.

Due to its third postponement the tournament is set to kick off from August 2nd-20th which should be around the time the 25/26 season should be kicking off give or take. The biggest hurdle is the fact a good number of the CHAN team & top performers in the NPFL season will be moving to teams abroad which always happens in the summer window so we'll see they handle it.
The situation with Kanu was expected just looking at his CV, I was hoping he would surprise, but he seems to be a cheerleader/distraction so people will forget how low their standards have dropped at all sectors of the clubs management.

To start with, I wondered why Kanu had to be appointed given all the work that Anyansi had done for years. I wonder whether it was because Anyansi had become involved with the NFF Board but that isn't a daily thing. Well, Enyimba is paying the prize.
In any case, you are right about the players and the likelihood that they would move by the time of the tournament. However, the NFF could plan better by having in-week camps and constantly invite replacements. Though it involves substantive expenditures but that is what will be necessary to have a strong team by CHAN tournament time.
