For the record I have settled with Waffiman. I settled with him about 5 years ago. You can go ahead and ask him. I know it is fun and dandy to keep this dead horse going but don't you think it is time to let it go? This is a new year. Work on a new material.Globero wrote:Onigbese, you don pay Waffiman the 100 bucks ?Its a Goal wrote:We are building towards that goal. We don't want to go through the route of buying it ala Man City and Chelsea, but do it the right way by building a team capable of shocking the world. I see it happening sooner rather than later.platinum wrote: Also when last did Spurs win the current Premiership?

We didn't invest £100 million in new capital but £100 million in reinvestment. Big difference. We are an ambitious club and we don't sell just to keep the money in the bank for our manager to rack in the interest or for shareholders to boast their return. We have an owner and chairman who are willing to bite the bullet and make a difficult decision like firing a manager who is not showing he is up to the task or whose loyalty has being compromised. These 2 fellows are ambitious and they will eventually get it right. Spurs are going in the right direction, it is only a question of time before the pieces fall in place.azuka wrote:Building? when you bought 7 players and spent over 100million pounds at a go? You know you be my man, but all this one na grammar oo. I no know bukuru oo. Call am capital or call am reinvestment, the fact remains you sold and bought. Leaving a -ve in your pocket. And there is yet to see an ROI. This is a case of simply 1 being greater than the sum of 7.Its a Goal wrote:We didn't invest £100 million in new capital but £100 million in reinvestment. Btw, the club that "sell just to keep the money in the bank for our manager to rack in the interest or for shareholders to boast their return" just built a beautiful stadium which is all but paid off while the "ambitious" club is still THINKING of building one. That my man is what is called AMBITION. Google the word.

You forgot we didn't sell only 1 player. We didn't have a -tive net spend. We sold Caulker and Huddlestone and the total cash received was what went into buying all the players. We are going to be fine. It takes more than 4 months to have all the players jell and we will eventually get the groovy train going sooner rather than later.azuka wrote:You know you be my man, but all this one na grammar oo. The team that continues to reinvest in itself has the distinction of having a more recent trophy on the cabinet. Enough said.

Okay lets cut the CRAP, and examine your more recent trophy...A League Cup win in 2008? That's what you are crowing about? SMHIts a Goal wrote:You forgot we didn't sell only 1 player.
