Emir why did you leave Iwobi out of your initial line up? Iwobi and perhaps Lookman are the only two I can rely on to split a defence with a pass. A tired Iwobi still had eyes to see and split that ball to Oshimen. Curios tho

That’s an error. Iwobi get his issues but the team get bigger ones in the am position. He starts

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. Looks like a 4-2-3-1 formation. Chukwueze is on the left? Watched him play once on the left, he wasn't effective.

We will create a lot of chances as per usual. If we take them then we will win.
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

Why not play 352 so we can strengthen the midfield and utilize our strength in striking options.

Pissero just isn't thinking right.
343 can also be 361. Not sure why all these noise about formation as long as they can defend as a unit. Nothing is static. just because a player is in the attacking line doesn't mean he can't fall back in the middle or defend. I just don't get this formation uproar.

Well, I doubt it. I think both Naija and Ghana needs a lot of good luck in this thing, else one of the teams might go home early.

Chukwueze is a massive gamble, but I don't mind it. We probably need to roll the dice a bit.

Chukwueze at his best will destroy ANY team in the world, and I mean ANY team in the world.

At his worst....well, he will stink up the joint, as he has been of late.

Let us hope and pray we get his best.

Increased footfall and hopefully the required provisions in terms of stewards, security etc to mitigate.

Should be a blunder buster of a fixture, elephants and eagles, tusks and talons. Hammer. Tong. A good old fashioned dust up hopefully.

90 minutes of Amokachi’s Hank Anukuesque accent however.
