Well, it happens
Not really. Ever since he came on he was defending poorly. It wasn't so much an accident as it was a pattern. He is either defensively naive or inexperienced
Buhari, whose two terms thankfully ground to a constitutional halt in May. (One thing both democracies have going for them is that their leaders, however bad, have only two terms to swing the wrecking ball.) Under Buhari, growth per head also plunged to 0. An economic agenda drawn from the dusty pages of a 1970s protectionist handbook failed to do the trick. Despite Buhari’s promise to tame terrorism and criminality, violence flourished. Despite his reputation for probity, corruption swirled. FT

This was how SA knocked out Morocco and CV. SA is a very smart team. You will get chances, but if you keep missing your chances, they will take their own!

There was no reason to bring on Yusuf….Iwobi had the game under control.

Take off Osayi and bring on Omeruo - it is glaringly obvious….

That’s why, if we need a coach that’s proactive

You want to blame Yusuf when your strikers are the reason the counter attack even happened in their first place??

Our 2nd goal was cancelled because we fouled SA in our box while recovering the ball. The foul was given as a PK.

The air has gone out of the Eagles.
Will need a massive individual act of brilliance
to save this game.
Just madness from Yusuf.
He will rue this if we fail to qualify

I thought so too, but it seems VAR over-ruled it

Yusuf is lost his head completely!
Form is temporary; Class is Permanent!
Liverpool, European Champions 2005.

We watched this very boring video, 500 times, of Sacchi doing defensive drills, using sticks and without the ball, with Maldini, Baresi and Albertini. We used to think before then that if the other players are better, you have to lose. After that we learned anything is possible – you can beat better teams by using tactics." Jurgen Klopp
