The money that Mikel and Yobo want..is ADDITIONAL, not what was agreed.

Just shutup and learn from folks that know the 'WAYS' of the NFA/NFF for over 3 decades.
Being a certified crook is the 1st prerequisite to serve in that .....criminal and 'un-patriotic' organization!!!!!!!

Nigerians are proud pationate at times but never patriotic & to be honest Patrism is the main ingredient (not ingreediance) to a winning World Cup team, teams like Italy & Germany scrap & scrape to finals with below average performances in the early stages only to pick up shred tiring opponents!Gooner1 wrote:I was wondering when the NFF would show their dirty hands again........so predictable

IGBOS ARE THE IMPORTANT AND USEFUL SLAVES OF NIGERIA. THEY HAVE A CHOICE TO MAKE.
Re: Mikel & Yobo arguing for $100.000 appearance fee
Is the money from FIFA meant to be shared or is the largesse meant to develop the game of football in general in the participating countries?
I fail to understand why players need to be asking for appearance fees or why the NFF needed to pocket anything.

Na the players money! They are not asking for the impossible. It should be given to them.

...oh well, e don come again o.
I knew this will surface, the thieves been licking their chops for not getting their way with Keshi.
Oh boy, there go our world cup dream of doing well and progressing.
They say breakfast is best food of the day, starve a child and he will be sluggish in class, sleeping thru lessons.
Starve the SE of their due pay out, and they will be sluggish on match day.
Damn, I give up. Hope this is not true

That word develop is for organised nations, that's why I put that particular subject in brackets on a earlier post on this thread,I only care about these dis functional clowns because my blood is Nigerian but all I see is disarray & disunity to be honest its been like this from the start!balo wrote:Is the money from FIFA meant to be shared or is the largesse meant to develop the game of football in general in the participating countries?

Even Nigerian youth team players scramble for the cash whilst there's no official NFF academy no real football specific national stadia.

Re: Super Eagles Players In Bonus Fight
The money is not meant for the players. The FA needs to develop the league so half of the money doesn't have to go to the players in the tournament. There is money for preparing for such tournaments to include friendlies, housing, qualifying etc...Playing for the national team is not meant to make one rich overnight. They need to be fairly remunerated but 100k appearance fee is pushing it...Gotti wrote:Bigpokey24 wrote:give them their money. 23 times 100k is not even half 9 million![]()

No wonder agents pay serious money to get their players to the world cup. With the appearance fee alone you have covered Keshi's "alleged" bribe money...The rest is just extra

Without them, the money would not exist...ugly boy wrote:The money is not meant for the players. Furthermore, exactly how is it mutually-exclusive to pay the players an appearance fee and "develop the league" with the money?ugly boy wrote:The money is not meant for the players. If genuinely able players are picked Nigeria might even advance from the group stage and play an extra match or 2.ugly boy wrote:No wonder agents pay serious money to get their players to the world cup. Re: Super Eagles Players In Appearance Fee Fight
If the US and Ghana are paying 75k to each player, our players are wise to ask for something similar. But I really hope the likes of Ideye, Nosa and Mba will get their share for playing in d qualifiers. Having said dat, it's concerning to think of what has happened to the millions FIFA has been giving us all these years age grade inclusive. Same NFF can't pay N5m/month and owes coaches for months. Even dropped Okpalla for lack of money.

Part of it meant for preparation like $1.5m. Most countries are giving their players such monies. Aren't they hens laying the golden eggs?balo wrote:Is the money from FIFA meant to be shared or is the largesse meant to develop the game of football in general in the participating countries?
