And Ighalo is still 100% useless. How did the vaunted Jamilu Collins allow Mahrez to use him to drink garri like that? I pray we are better in the second half. This first have does not promise much.

Stop talking nonsense................He is among our best players today, but I expect him to be miles better.
Simple question, has he beat his marker on his wing once? I’ve counted at least 3 times he was easily dispossessed.

But seriously what was Ekong attempting to do with the hip kick gifting Algeria the goal?

Ighalo seems a tad too slow for this game. Jam body footy won't work against these guys. Not sure where Samu is playing, he doesn't seem to have space to operate.
If he did not play, they will kill the coach, fans are always right oh. Not play Samu after the South Africa game.. You sef

Whatever they decide to throw into this game, it must not include Onuachu, you need fast, clever and ni be players to run around the Algerians, not a static bean pole
Oloye.... do u see Onyekuru, Oshimen coming in?.......u must admit that this coach is not it.....Algeria should be 3-0 up....

The coach has no clue, u have 35 goal a season strikers on the bench and u are playing Musa, Ighalo, Moses, Onuacho and half fit Kalu....come on. We don’t have a chance....

The only way we can win is if these players decide to do it their own way. The coach is apparently clueles
I second that.
Suicide. Nowhere near enough cerebro to go freestyle. Algeria clearly have a plan, Nigeria very much the same as usual.

@Oloye, nothing Ekong could’ve done there, ball came him too fast for a reaction.

We have zero control of this game. They’ve flooded our middle which forces Iwobi deeper and isolates Ighalo. We need to sacrifice a winger for a CM to regain control of the midfield battle. If Mikel is fit, he should enter as a DM and push up both Etebo and Ndidi into CM box to box roles. This should allow the wide men and ighalo get more touches on the ball.

352 is not a good formation when chasing a game.
