NFF RULE OUT KESHI, SIASIA; DENY RENARD. Insist On FC

Post by Zelex »

Chieftains of the Nigeria Football Federation are not considering employing former Super Eagles captain, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi and Nigeria’s coach to both the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2005 and the 2008 Olympics in 2008, Samson Siasia, Complete Sports reliably gathered.

Also, the widely reported meeting with Zambian coach to the Nations Cup, Herve Renard for the job of the Super Eagles following his team’s ‘impressive’ campaign in the African mundial did not take place.

Complete Sports exclusively gathered from a top member of the Federation in Luanda who prefered anonymity that the nation’s football controlling body has concluded on going for a foreign coach who would lead the country to a good outing in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
“The coaches to the Nations Cup here in Angola led by Shuaibu Amodu have not done badly but the general consesus is that the Eagles need a better manager to take them to the World Cup.
“It is neither here nor there. Some here are of the opinion that hiring the likes of Keshi, Siasia for the Eagles job as some Nigerians insist will be like jumping from frying pan to fire. And this is the thinking of all of us at the NFF.
“I can also confirm to you that the Federation never met with the Zambian coach, Herve Renard, so I wonder how people come up with the conclusion that we (NFF) have decided to go for him,” the NFF official concluded.

They better find someone who has qualifed for the world cup at least 3 times... Has 20 years of football experience in Africa and, has gone as long as Amodu did without losing a game :boo: :boo: :boo: :boo:

...Keshi and Sia...what a joke...?they all have been polutted period...
...that Sia went to Egypt and could not field a regular team till he was in trouble...imagine him using the team against Germany from the start...? I guess trying to help agent promote player like he did when he used Isaac Promise at the Olympic when better option was there...
...Keshi...? ask Adebayor...Togo team last WC...
..there is no coach that can make it with HIDDEN AGENDA...many LC are crowded with hidden agenda...

Keshi said that before the team arrived South Africa that he told skipper Joseph Yobo that the Eagles were going to win the Cup but the former Everton defender did not believe.

Well when our own president flys of to Saudi Arabia f or treatments, doesn't trust the health care system in Nigeria, why won't the NFF have the same mentality by looking fo ra foreign coach.
Winners do it the right way.

PS. The reports are even getting more and more ludicrous sha.

It is becoming increasingly hard for anyone to keep up with this unbelievable state of affairs in our football house.

We should not expect anything different from an unstable government whose leader is still unaccounted for since November 23,2009.

I find it shameful that some of us are here attacking a coach who is trying to restore some semblance of order to our football team under such unpredictable environment.

Who among us can even survive under such circumstances talk less of generating the kind of results attributable to Amodu since taking over the SE since 2008?
Incidentally, why was it that none of all the pious ever discovered psycho-analysis?Why did it have to wait for a completely godless Jew?

what rubbish, what asurance that an FC magician will take us to a decent outing in SA? Another Berti? same rubbish was said b4 they hired Vogts and made some of mselves and hangers on very rich with even worst result to show for it. EFCC shd start probing these NFF men and slam them behind bars. The best thing for Nigerian football at the moment is People who are local and know the Nigerian football scene from the grassroot to the senior level and can use their knowledge to inject new blood and scout and re-organise & re-orientate Nigeria football at all levels. What does an FC jouneyman know about Nigerian football? nothing - they just depend on using hangers-on who are there to sell and promote their own boys while confusion reigns, as others criticize and scramble for their own bite of the cherie. This I see as a major problem of our football but the FC die-hards will not see it cos of either personal gain or complex.
