Chelsea 2 v Arsenal 0 - FT (Drogba, Alex)

Post by Sir V »

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti will take charge of Sunday's game despite the death of his father on Wednesday.

Striker Didier Drogba will replace Gael Kakuta after missing the win against Marseille through suspension.

Arsenal are still without captain Cesc Fabregas due to a hamstring injury, while Kieran Gibbs has a calf problem.

Defender Thomas Vermaelen is out but midfielder Abou Diaby should be fit, while Manuel Almunia's injury means Lukasz Fabianski will continue in goal.

I see Drogba "destroyer of small teams" is on the first 11. Gunners should be sh!ting on their pants at the moment.

If I'm honest i'm not happy with Song and Diaby in that starting line up! Would prefer Denilson or Rosicky. Shame Lansbury isn't on the bench.

..... Arsenal for life ! :D
From this day forth, I stand by the entity that is ARSENAL.
I'm in despair when we lose, I rejoice when we win and I become emotional for all that happens in between

I can't see this team getting a result IMHO Essien and Obi will own that midfield. Although Nasri is in fine form goal scoring wise, he still doesn't play for the team by hogging the ball too often. Diaby well.......
